Here's a poem about the companions in my most favorite TV show ever, Doctor Who. If you are a Whovian like me, you're awesome.
Still scarred from ending the Time War,
He met a girl worth fighting for.
Her name was Rose, just like the flower,
But in the end, he didn't have enough power
To say what in his heart was true;
The words, "Rose Tyler..." <---(you fill in the blanks)
Soon he found himself on the moon,
Hiding from a bunch of Judoon,
He met Martha in the hospital
But losses had made his heart so brittle.
Being with him was hard to bear,
For he never noticed she was there.
When Martha left he was alone again
The lonely god was sad, but then,
An old friend found him at long last
And he and Donna had a blast.
But all too soon, she had to go,
Her memories gone like melting snow.
Later when he crashed through space,
He landed in a mysterious place,
With a crack where pure time energy was spawned,
And the home of a girl named Amelia Pond.
She waited for 14 long years,
And there he was, all eyes and ears. <---(and chin )
The next day was her wedding day.
She didn't think—just ran away.
Soon her husband joined the fun,
But all too soon, their adventures were done.
When Rory vanished in the blink of an eye,
And Amy said her last goodbye.
He wrapped his heart in a cold, dark shroud,
And sulked for years upon a cloud
'Till impossible Clara came around,
And tipped his whole life upside down.
To him, she is a mystery,
Scattered across his history.
But the mystery will be no more
When the Doctor goes to Trenzalore.
