Christians POV
I woke up to the clamor of about a hundred voices chatting around me. I sat up and picked a tomato slice out of my hair, looking around at my surroundings. "H-hi." I chuckled slightly. There was a sudden silence as a group of kids wearing pink stood around the table.
"Oh... how fun... Why THIS table?" Zahara asks as she hops down.
"What's this table?" I say as I stand up.
"Aphrodite. I have bad experience with these campers.... I've tried to..erm... kill them on multiple occasions.. heh..." Zahara added. "Well.. um.."
"Let's go." Carmen jumps off the table. She pauses to pluck an apple out of one of the girl's hands.
"Wait up! I don't know where I am!" I jump off the table and follow Carmen.
"Oh, yeah. Welcome to Camp Half-Blood kid." She says walking away.
Carmen's POV
I look up taking a bite out of the apple in my hands. I look up at, my eyes skimming over the large table in front of the smaller tables. "Hey, Chiron! We're back!"
Chiron clears his throat. "Welcome back, then. Who might this be?" The man points at Christian.
"Some new kid." I explain, my eyes slowly de-glowing, my magic fading. I smile, "Wait for it...". Chiron smiles and stands up, his body elongating past normal human height.
"You're-you're." Christian stammers before fainting, slumping onto the floor.
Chiron sighs. "Take him to the Infirmary Carmen. Zahara, take that away from him before he kills himself." Chiron chuckles and Zahara smiles taking the sword away from the unconscious child.
"Ok." I say. I snap my fingers and a blue essence surrounded Christian. "Can I have an Apollo kid?"
I look over to see that one of the Apollo kids had gotten up and walked up towards him.
"Come on." I say and I walked towards to the Infirmary.
Christian's POV
I open my eyes to see a blinding light above me so I just covered my eyes with my arm. "Mom, can you shut off the light? I just had the weirdest dream." I said barely raising my voice a whisper. "There were two girls and a ring that could into a sword and I saw a half man half horse creature. Then the dream was over."
"That wasn't a dream." I heard a voice from the other side of the room. I sit up and look to see Carmen sitting in a chair eating an apple. "Now, hurry up and get going..." Carmen smiles and tosses the apple at me. The apple soared through the air and hit me straight in the face.
"OW! What was that for? That hurt!" I complain rubbing my forehead.
"You're just soooo smart..." Carmen says clapping slowly. "Aren't you?"
I roll my eyes and retort back, "Well you threw an apple at my F-ing face." I pick up the apple at gesture with it. "Can I eat this?".
"No." She chuckles back, walking over to me and plucking the apple from my hands. It's poisonous to you."
"Dang it!... I'm hungry." I complain, mock clenching my stomach from fake hunger pains.
"Well..." She muses. "It's not my fault you demigods can't eat the same as me."
"Demigods?" I stutter looking at her curiously. "If I'm one of....'Them' then.. what are you?"
"She ain't normal. Carmen's special." Zahara walks in confidently a sword hilt extruding from the holder strapped to her waist. "I. a "Normal" child of the lord of the dead can't even eat it. She's Immortal."
"Yeah." Carmen says. "You're not human. Your Dad/Mom was a God/Goddess...yada yada..." She sighs and takes a bite out of the apple.
"What do you mean my dad's a God?" i ask standing up when a wave of lightheadedness comes over me causing me to sit back down.
"Probably child of....Hermes..." Carmen says looking straight at Zahara.
"Mabey..." Zahara says smoothly.
"Whatever." I stopped trying to engage in conversation and messed with the ring Zahara had thrown at me earlier. It was pretty for a ring... black vines etched into the cold iron. My head snapped up when Carmen cleared her throat, pulling herself to her feet.
"Welp. Now if you excuse me...I have to go and Meet with Uncle Nico." She began to walk towards the door when Zahara spoke up.
"Yeah. Go talk to my... Brother." Zahara growled staring at the other girl. I could feel the hostility in her gaze and looked at carmen to see what she would say next.
"We're working on a project..." Carmen sayed in with a cocky attitude, glaring daggers right back at Zahara.
"Project?" Zahara shook her head. "Not going to ask. hey... if you have my necklace be sure to give it to me before sundown or it will take your soul." She smiled with mock sweetness her eyebrows raised and her face set smug. "Hey... Didja remember to give Christian some Ambrosia or some nectar?"
"What am I? A plant?" I ask looking confusedly at the two girls.
"Godly food. Vlákas.." She muttered under her breath.
"What did you just say? How did I understand that? I am not an idiot." I mutter out questioning the strangers who brought me here and questioning myself. Zahara just rolled her eyes and Carmen shook her head.
"Well... I'm going to the garden now." Carmen sighs and walks out of the room. Zahara mumbled and walked out. She muttered something along the lines of "I'm following you so you don't get yourself killed."
