"As you are all aware we are currently in the most bloodiest war in history. And bad for us we have to fight without reinforcements for now." Gaara said in his monotone while pacing slowly but precisely. His Aqua eyes pierced through his men souls. All getting ready for battle.

"This sneak attack will determine whether or not we will win. I expect our troops to prevail with the plans as ordered too".

Lee had a bright smile on his lips even through his lovers speech. Being Boyfriends with the commander had no benefits or special treatment. According to the rules soliders were not allowed to even have relations to eachother as it might jeopardize their mission. Feelings were to be eliminated and wiped clean out of their skulls on the spot. Their general was the first to know and tried to talk one of them to quiting.

But, that was not the case between Gaara and Lee. Gaara was the commander recognized greatly for his insomnia and lack of emotions. .This made him the best for night wacth and his intelligence rivals Shikamaru's who has an I.Q of over 200. Gaara's name was well known and feared. His position was priceless to this war. That ruled out the thought of kicking him out.

But Lee's reputation of being the best Soilder that was ever put into the system was very well still alive. The General herself called him by his respectable tittle "The Green Machine of the leaf". He alone could wipe out an entire army with his bear hands. Lee might not have a high I.Q but dont be fooled, he is fast on his feet. If you even blink in a moments notice you will die. Not only could he kill anyone, he is known for his ability with a sniper. Lee could snipe about anyone while not leaving a trace of his tracks.

General Tsnade gave up knowing these two great Soilder's won't let their emotions get the best of them. As Gaara continued his speech Lee couldn't help but wacth his imagination run wild. It was two days before Gaara's birthday. It was a shame his lover's birthday was in the time of war. But, if Lee and his team executed this mission correctly it would be over.

The Green Machine's dog tag shone brightly at the mild weather in Suna. After this mission Lee would be giving Gaara the best present ever. He let a grin slip his features when they were dismissed. Gaara walked toward Lee and told him to follow. This was not a command from his superior but his sweet mate.

After walking about 15 minutes into a body of sand surrounded by only heat and dessert predators. They stood there in peaceful silence untill Gaara spoke up.

"Lee please promise me something" Gaara said sounding more demanding then pleading. Lee's dark chocolate eyes scanned his boyfriend looking for something wrong before saying "And that is Gaara-sama ?".

The commander straightened up before throwing himself on Lee. Lee, being the Soilder he is caught Gaara in an instance before wrapping his arm around the tiny frame. "Dont. Die" were the words to leave Gaara's mouth.
