Hello dear, you do not know who I am but I know you. I am one of the three demons a signed to you at birth. You see some people in this world are destined for greatness. Destine to live happy full filing lives you I'm afraid are not one of those people and it's our job to make sure of that.
Who are we oh my,oh how rude of me allow me to introduce ourselves.
Shame is my youngest brother. The demon on your left shame tells you that your a freak that those thoughts you had are not normal. That you'll never fit in. Shame is the one who makes you hate yourself, shame is the one who whispers in your ears when you are in trouble as a child.
Fear is my older brother who is on your right. As old as life itself fear fills every dark corner with monsters. Turns every stranger on the Street into a murderer. Fear stops you from telling your chrush how you feel. He tells you it's better not to try than let people see you fail. Fear makes you build your own prison lurking in the shadows never letting you free from his crushing grip.
Who am I then? I am the worst of your demons but you see me as a friend you turn to me when you have nothing else. Because I live in your heart. I am the one who forces you to endure, the one who prolongs your torment. I am the enemy that you didn't know existed.
I am hope.
I hope you like this short story that one of my close friends written for me. you may not know but my friend who wrote this is going into surgery soon, as she has external bleeding somewhere in her body. I resently drew that picture to show she and other people are alone in this. Because look
around you you have so much to live for! Never forget that!!!
