Flashback
"Jade sweety mommy has to go now. " my mom hummed rubbing my back. "Why? " I pouted. "Because mommy is to big for school." She smiled tapping my nose with her finger.
"I don't want to be here! " I stomped "I want to go home!" I squealed latching onto her leg. "I'm sorry princess but I really have to go now." My mom said kissing me on the forehead and walking away. I put my head down and sat down on the floor where my mom abandoned me.
I was kicking pebbles around and blowing my blonde bangs out of my face. I looked around at all the other kids running around and playing. One kid was in the corner eating glue with a pencil up his nose. On the playmatt there was 2 girls making a tower out of building blocks when a red headed boy came charging through their colorful master piece. Girls and boys chasing eachother around with bugs in their hands and a group of little girls learning to braid eachothers hair. I continued sitting alone when someone fell on top of me. "Hey!" I pouted getting up from under him. "Sorry." He said glancing down. I raised my elbow up to view and saw a tiny scrape. I shrugged it off knowing that only little babies cry. It really did hurt though and this boy must have known since he hugged me. "Im Hunter." He smiled looking me in the eye. "My name is Jade Mitts but you can call me your friend." I giggled. I cringed feeling another stinging sensation. "Owwy." I pouted. Hunter tilted his head and frowned. He walked away and waved me over to the sink. He wet a paper towel and wiped off the dirt. When he was done he kissed it and smiled. "Thanks." I grinned. "Thats what friends do right?" He grinned with a sparkle in his colored eyes. "Right." I nodded. He grabbed my hand and we ran over to the play ground. Hunter Rowland and Jade Mitts the dynamic duo.
