The Halloween Mystery

       "Are we almost there?" asked Caylee.

        "Yeah like 2 more minutes away I think!" answered Annalese. Caylee and Annalese were neighbors and best friends even though they were 2 years apart. Caylee was 12 and Annalese was 10. They were on their way to Halloween City to pick out  costumes. They were meeting Gabriella and Gabe,Twins that were each 11. Gabriella has a nickname of Gabby. They always get together, they're a team.

         "We're there!" called Caylee's mom.

        "I'll pick you guys up at 4."

         "Okay mom, love ya!" Caylee called. Annalese looked at her watch.

           "It's 3, we'd better go find them." Annalese exclaimed. Caylee and Annalese went inside the store to see a big crowd of people rushing around for costumes. They squeezed through the crowds of people and saw Gabby  and Gabe in the back of the store.

            "Hey!" Gabby called running up to them.

             "Sorry we're late! My dad didn't get home with the car until 3." Caylee explained.

              "No problem, we were looking at the Halloween candy." Gabe said.

              Gabriella and Caylee went to the fairytale isle and Gabe and Annalese went to the dark and dead isle.

              "I think this year I want to be a fairy, what do you want to be Caylee?" asked Gabriella.

             "I was thinking of a gothic bride." she replied.

             "I think I found the perfect fairy costume for me." Gabby said a few minutes later. She found a light purple sparkly dress with long sleeves. It had a long back flowing behind her that was full of ruffles. It had pink streaks at the end of the sleeves.  It also has two bracelets that are pink.  It had white plain tights and black shoes.  The wings were pink and had a purple outlining.  It had a little chains hanging off each end with purple sparkly hearts and a purple sparkly headband.  It was perfect. 

           "I think I found one too! This is just my type"  She saw a white wedding dress with some black in it and a black veil and black high heels with white flowers on the toe. The girls went to try them on while Gabe and Analeese were still looking. 

            "I am going to be a vampire!" Analeese exclaimed. 

             "I'm looking for a Frankenstein costume." Gabe said.  Analeese finally found one with a red vest, black pants, a black cape, and white fangs with some blood.  It looked cool. 

              "I like it."  Gabe said.  "But look at this Frankenstein!"  It also came with a mask and stick on bolts for the head.  They went to the dressing rooms to try on their clothes.

           "We look awesome!!" exclaimed Caylee as everyone was finished trying  on the clothes. 

            "I agree."  said Mrs. Mophere, Gabe and Gabriella's mom.  Everybody decided to buy their costumes. 

             "They're great!  I can't wait 'til Halloween!" choked Gabriella drinking her vanilla smoothie they got from McDonalds. 

           Caylee and Analeese went home.  So did the twins.  They went to bed early for tomorrow they had a kickball game.  Them (Tigers) vs.  The Hungry Sharks.
