The "Nerd" And The StreetRacer!

4 March Saturday

It was 10:00 Saturday morning when I woke up.

I don't usually sleep in so late but I was tired from practice we had been practicing everyday after school until it was dark.

I rolled over in my bed picking up my phone and switching it on to see I had a text.

From: King/Jacob
I'm picking you up at 11:30 Princess.

I replied saying okay and then I dragged my body out of bed. Without falling. And walked towards the bathroom I have a quick shower and jump out wrapping my towel around me.

I grab a pair of denim shorts and a black tshirt that tied in the middle cutting off just above my belly button. I got dressed in the clothes and hung my towel up so it would dry.

I found my lace converse and put them on walking back into the bathroom I brush my hair and blow dry leaving it out naturally.

I go back to my room quickly making my bed I grab my phone and put it in my back pocket.

I'm about to exit my room when as an after thought I grab a red bandana tying it around my head.

I leave my room and walk into the kitchen I grab some cereal and start eating.

I finish eating and clean my bowl and spoon before going and brushing my teeth just as I finish brushing my teeth I hear a car horn.

I call out to my mum saying good bye I had already told her I was going out today I double check I have my phone before running out the door and towards Jacobs car I get in the car greeting Jacob.

"So are you going to tell me where we are going?" I ask him and he just shakes his head smirking.

About 10 minutes later Jacob pulled up to a house about the same size as mine with a pretty garden.

"This is my house, which you already know since you've been here before" he tells me climbing out of the car before I could say anything I follow him out of the car shutting the door behind me.

"Why are we at your house?" I ask him walking around the side of the car to the side he was on.

"I want you to meet my mum" he says and I smile at him before he leads me inside.

There was pictures on the wall of family portraits, there was one in particular that I really liked. It was of Jacob and he looked about 5 and he was sitting on a mans shoulder the man I presume is his dad as he looks like an older version of him.

Jacob has a cheeky grin on his face while his dad is looking at a woman on his left with his arm around her other they were gazing at each other adoringly.
The women had the same hair colour and skin tone as Jacob so that must be his mum.

Jacob must have noticed me looking at the photo because he stopped walking and stood next to me.

"That's a really great photo" I tell him.

"Thanks it's my favourite family photo" he says.

I nod and Jacob continues walking further into the house and into the lounge room.

"Mum we're here" Jacob calls out.

"Coming dear" she calls back walking into the room with one oven mit on and is carrying a tray of cookies.

She sets the tray down on the coffee table slipping off the oven mit she turns to face me.

"You must be Sienna the Angel of a girl who has brought a smile to my sons face again my name is Trish" she says embracing me in a tight hug which I return.

I see Jacob over her shoulder turning bright red.

I giggle lightly as she lets go of me. I don't what she means by I brang a smile to her sons face again I'm sure he was fine before he met me.

"Sit down sweetheart make yourself at home" Trish tells me motioning to the couch I take a seat next to Jacob.

Trish is so funny she even got out old photo albums from when Jacob was younger.

We looked through heaps of photos and talked for a while.

"I should probably take Sienna home" Jacob says standing up of the couch I follow his lead standing up as well.

I check the time on my phone and see its 2:00 Wow I had been here longer than I thought.

I hug Trish goodbye and she said I'm welcome to come over anytime.

I get in the car as Jacob climbs in the drivers seat. He pulls the car out on to the road but instead of going left towards my house he turns right.

"Jacob my house is the other way" I tell him.

"I know Princess we have one more stop to make and don't even ask where cause I ain't tellin'" Jacob says and I frown.

"Okay okay fine I won't ask" I say pouting.

About half an hour Jacob indicates turning left I sit up in my chair to see where we are and notice that he was pulling in to the cemetery.

I look over at Jacob as he pulls into a parking spot.

"I wanted you to meet my other parent as well" Jacob says gulping as we both get out the car he grabs my hand leading me over to a grave I look at the plaque which reads;

Rest In Peace John Samuels you may be gone but you will never be forgotten.

I read it then look at Jacob.

"I'm sorry if this is wei-" he begins but I cut him off by pulling him into a tight hug he instantly hugs me back.

"I feel honoured that you brought me here" I tell him and I can feel him smile into my shoulder.

After that we both sat down and Jacob introduced me to his dad and we sat there for a bit over an hour just talking to each other and to Jacobs dad.

It made me so happy that Jacob felt like he could share such a big part of his life with me.

Sorryyyyyy I've just been busy with starting school again.

Hope the chapter was worth the wait personally I'm happy with how this chapter ended up.

The book is nearly finished.....
