Birthday of Subaru

Subaru's P.O.V.
  I woke up. I look around my coffin. Good thing it's big enough for me to move around and put some of my weapons inside. I love being with my weapons. The most favorite weapon I have is the black and white butterfly knife. It also had some shades of red.  I look at the clock beside me. It had a date. Argh.... why does it have to be my birth day? I always thought me being borned in the world was a curse. What is my use here anyways? Damn it. I kicked open the coffin angrily and my eyes widened when I saw Karlheinz right in front of my coffin holding a gift. Holding a gift. Holding a gift. Holding a gift..... HOLDING A GIFT!? "Happy birthday my youngest son. " He said and then put the gift on my hand and rubbed my head. "Am I imagining this?" I asked out loud. "Surpised your father went here? Well, I can't disagree or disappoint a certain someone." He said and smirked then disappeared from my room. I opened the gift to find out. It was a necklace that had a knife as a decoration. I like it. But then my thought was dismissed. "Tch." Was all I said and went out of the room wearing the necklace I didn't want to disappoint the old man. Not to mention the vampire king. It's kinda scary sometimes. I walked out of my room like always and kick something that was in my way. Example is like now, a vase full of flowers in front of me. "Who in the world would leave flowers in the middle of the hall way?!" I shouted angrily and kicked it out of my way. The vase broke into pieces and there was flowers scattered everywhere. It landed in front of Kage's room. I wish she isn't awake. But my luck ran out. Kage opened the door widely and angrily. "I know it's your birthday Subaru and happy 18th birthday. But you don't have to make a lot of noise!" She shouted at me angrily. I was still surprised. I didn't know that she she knew my birthday. The one that only remembers it is Reiji. But I doubt that Reiji would ever tell this girl. Did a part of her memories return? As if reading my mind she answered. "My dream showed me memories with you during your birthday party. I gave you a gift before which was a butterfly knife with red, white and black combination. I retrieved only a part of my memories about each and everyone's birthday." She said in a bored tone and yawned. She looks so..So..pretty. Especially when she was still wearing night gown and some strand of her hair was a bit covering her face while some were standing up. She is so pretty! Damn brain. Stop thinking that. "Well, anyway since your here come inside my room." She ordered and motioned me to get in. Many ideas popped in my mind. Will we kiss? Will she give me something? What will she give? Is she gonna confess? Is she gonna kill me?

     Damn brain, can't keep quiet at all. "Tch." Was all I said and went inside the room just to see her bed a bit messy and the sunset giving off light to the dark room. Her room was just simple, had white ceiling and gray walls. "Did you receive a gift already?" She asked in a sleepy way. "Yeah, so what?" I asked in a cold tone. She shook her head. "Just asking." She said and sat on her bed in an Indian seat. I just stood in front of her. "So why call me in?" I asked in an impatient tone. "My gift for you is my blood. The other gift will be later." She said in a sleepy tone. She really is pretty. "What if I don't want to sank my fangs into your skin?" I asked in a bad ass voice. "It's either I'll kill you instantly or you suck my blood right now." She said in a serious tone. It gave me the creeps for the first time. "Tsk. Like I have a choice." I said in a fake irritated manner and I saw her smirk. Can she see right through me. She move away her hair and instantly showing her neck. She pulled my hand and brought me to the bed and I bit her neck harshly. Well she wanted it. I deepen my fangs into her skin. "It really disgusts me when you vampires suck my blood. The sound of how you drink it disgusts me. Oh well, I may be a vampire but a higher level than yours. Yet our sound of drinking bloods sounds more melodic and relaxing and soothing unlike yours. And do you have some kind of intention of ripping my neck off? Your fangs are to deep that it is already starting to pierce a hole in my bone." She said and groaned. My eyes widened when she said that. I was going that far? I released my fangs from her neck, worried. Her blood was just too relaxing and sweet that it became so addictive. I wasn't almost able to stop myself. Blood dropped from the corner of my left side of my mouth and blood slide down her neck. The gang marks were already purple and I could see some of her bone and arteries showing. I did go to deep. "I-I m so sorry. I-I didn't know that...that.... I went to deep." I said in a sorry manner. She chuckled weakly. "I'll be fine... this will take hours to heal. Oh well. I guess my gift was over the top right? Then you will have a bonus gift later." She said and smiled weakly. I saw Zero kick the door of Kage widely. His eyes showed anger and fear. "WHAT HAPPENED?!" He shouted as soon as his eyes landed on her neck and on my mouth. "Zero... relax... I'll be fine. Now please get out of my room." She said coldly and Zero became more mad. "I care for you and yet you push me away! What is wrong with you Melody?!" He shouted and I saw Kage weakly smirk. "Call me Kage. And I don't think you care for me. You just instantly smelled my blood and wanted it." She said and Zero's eyes widened and he.angrily slammed the door. I saw Ichigo and Karlheinz teleported into the room. "Subaru. You shouldn't have drank too much." Ichigo said in a calm way. "Sorry." I mumbled. I'm scared that Kage might die. I DONT WANNA LOOSE HER. "Sorry isn't enough. I will let your older brother Reiji punish you." Karlheinz said strictly. "Just not today. It's his birthday. Please father?" Kage pleaded and Karlheinz's eyes softened. "Okay my dear. I'll let Yui help you bandage and tell some of the others to prepare breakfast already. You will still be going to night class later.So make sure later you try to hide your scent from them. Your excuse will be 'I wanna hide my scent. Got a problem?' Alright? " Karlheinz said and then disappeared with Ichigo. Me and Kage stayed in the room in silence, that was until she she broke it. "Don't blame yourself Subaru-chan. It isn't your fault." She said and smiled sweetly. I wiped my mouth with her blood and kissed her forehead. I saw her blush. "Why did you kiss my forehead?" she asked in a childish manner unknowingly. "Because.... I love you......" I whispered in her ear. Then the next second Yui opened the door and I moved away. "Oh my gosh! Good thing I have a lot of medicine with me! Wait. What is Subaru doing here?" She asked in a surprise tone. "I'll be on my way." I said and teleported into my room. I closed my mouth as my face turned cherry red.  'Did I just confessed?!'

Yui's P.O.V.
   I put medicine and she yelped. "Are you badly hurt?" I asked while applying more medicine and wiping of the blood. "I wouldn't like to lie.... So yes... It hurts so badly." She said in a sad and in pain manner. "Well, I know you are already hurt with this big wound and what will hurt next is your heart." I said and started putting bandage around her neck. "Someone will stab my heart?" She asked in a clueless manner while playing with her fingers. I laughed a bit. "No, I mean you will have to choose from the brothers. From what I see, the Kurosakis and Carla Tsukinami with Ayato, Ruki, Azusa and Masato doesn't show a single drop of affection for you. But the others are already starting to fall for you. The question will be, who will you choose?" I asked and finally finished putting the bandage around her neck. I started to fix the first aid kit. "Well.... I started having a heartbeat for Shuu... but I'm interested in Reiji but I care for Subaru a lot and I like Yuma..... So I'm not really sure....I don't even understand if one of those feelings arrive or just a misunderstanding. " she said in a low voice. I finished fixing the kit and was by the door already. "Well, whatever your heart desires is the one you live. But be careful, sometimes desires are the ones that are the most fake." I said and saw hint of clueless in her eyes. I giggled. "Figure it out yourself." I said and with that I left her room. Well, need to get ready for night class! I better bring hearing aids. The fan girls will be shouting like crazy again.
