I've been thinking about putting this book together since forever but i never got around to actually sitting down and writing it, I've been saving all kinds of notes and post it's and snippets of stuff i dream about for quite a while, and i just decided it was time. I have very vivid, colorful, eventful dreams, and in the past few years a great deal of them have been nightmares. I don't think i need to tell you this is a very personal book, because you can literally see what's in my mind, what are my fears, what makes me anxious and what sticks with me even when i'm asleep. This idea first came about when i realized remembering what you dream about it's not common for everyone, much less the stuff i dream about, i always got incredulity when i would narrate my dreams in front of other people and so i thought they would make entertaining stories. Most of what you will find here has a certain dark feel to it, hence the title of the book, all the stories are inspired by individual dreams, some of them are a starting point for what i wrote, others are pretty much the exact dream written as a story. This is also a kind of therapeutic exercise (you are welcome to Freud or Jung me) there was a time where nightmares would wake me up in the middle of the night so i went through a lot of sleepless nights, and i created a blog to keep a record of them, i no longer have it, but it proved a positive experience as i hope this one will.
