I saw them staring at me.
Disgust, judgment. curiosity.
Fear
I've been through this progress a thousand times.First it starts with curiosity, they start to watch you. It doesn't matter when or how. They're eyes bore into your skull. You can see it, you can feel it.
Then there's judgment. Let me tell you this just once. If you don't "belong", you'll never. I've been living with that spirit since the day I came here. I tried my hardest to fit in. When I say I tried I mean it. It went from giving food to driving a plane. Let's say it's a long story.
If they're not judging then they would get curious. Curious what you do, eat, say. Name it and they'd get curious about it. The most annoying thing is when they ask questions.
"Do you color your here?"
"Have you ever liked someone like us?"
"Can you pee through your belly button?"
You'd be surprised how many people have asked me the last one. But you know what they say. Curiosity killed the cat, but this time instead of the cat it was your dog and siblings.(A/N I'm sorry I just couldn't help it. I'll probably edit it out later)
The worst of all is fear. Why? Because it means people can't be themselves around you. They'll always be careful with what they say or do. I've seen it all. Those terrified faces i've seen it so many times. Those shaking legs that have past me for over a hundred times. But hey we're all human after all.
Yeah that's the thing.
I'm not.
