AMY'S POV:
As I continued to cook the chili for sonic I kept feeling as if I was being watched. I don't know why I just did. Until finally I caught the looker red handed.
Sonic: "Ah um uh hey Amy"
Sonic looked at me very nervously and embarrassed. I noticed his cheeks at faded into a pink shade and not its normal color. Which made me think did Sonic actually like me. Ever since we were little and I would surprise him he would never have pink trailed across his sweet cheeks. But now he did.
Me: "Sonic why are you blushing?"
Sonics ears point up and he feels the warmth in his cheeks and covers his hands over his cheeks.
Sonic: "wha what no Ames I'm not blushing"
Ames? Iv never been called that I'm mostly just called Amy not Ames.
SONIC'S POV:
My cheeks were flustered with warmth and pink. Ames?! Really what was I doing. What was I thinking at the same time. All I could do is what my heart says. My brain didn't want to be apart of me no more so my heart just took over everything. Amy kept looking at me smiling and she started to lean in close to me and I slowly backed away. But she grabbed both my hands and says with a soft and warming voice
Amy: "let me see"
Her voice was so sweet and comforting that I let loose my hands off my cheeks exposing to her my bright pink blushing cheeks. She smiles at me and my blue ears slant embarrassed a lot. Her cheeks begin to blush as well and she holds my hands down leaning even closer then before. The closer she gets the redder and warmer my cheeks become. Why couldn't I stop her I thought in my head. It would be so easy to.....yet I didn't want her to stop. Her eyes closed and she tilts her head into mine and attaches her lips onto mine. My cheeks really red I close my eyes as well and slowly move my hand onto her cheeks holding her onto my lips so she doesn't stop it. Iv always wanted this and now I have it. But the moment is spoiled when I smell something
Me: "uh Amy I think the chili is burning?"
She smells the air and her pink ears point up
Amy: "oh crap!!"
She runs back into the kitchen quickly and takes the chili out
Amy: "oh no oh no oh no "
I run into the kitchen as well to go in and help her out
Me: "Ames it's fine it's fine"
She looks at me after taking the chili out and turning the stove off.
Amy: "No it's not Sonic I burned it"
I look at the chili and I dip my finger in it and taste it. It does take a a bit bad but good at the same time.
Amy: "well"
I didn't wanna hurt her so I say
Sonic: "good as ever Ames"
She sighs and tastes it as well and once the chili slips off her finger into her mouth here ears point up. She runs to the trash and spits it out.
Amy: "how can you like that?" She says after spitting it out looking up at me
I hold her hand helping her up and I look her in the eyes.
Me: "because the thought and love you added into this makes it taste the best"
I lean into her and hug her to help her feel better and I feel my chest start to get wet. I look down at her and see her crying I then lean her off me and look at her.
Me: "Ames what's wrong?"
She whips her eye and says
Amy: "you've never acted like this before"
She smiles along with me and I think. I guess it's time I finally tell her
Me: "Amy"
Amy: "yes Sonic?"
I sigh and slowly let my feelings exit my mouth.
Me: "the reason Iv been acting this way is"
She looks at me starting at me with her light green eyes into my dark green eyes
Me: "the truth is Amy Rose"
Me: ".......I love you.."
I blush embarrassed to what I had said to her and she says
Amy: "Awww Sonic Iv waited so long for you to tell me because I love you too"
Me: "I know you do" I wink at her and lift her head up locking my lips onto hers letting lose a passionate kiss onto her sweet lips. Romance was forming between us.
