Okay before I start I want to give you a brief summary of where I'm going with this. So Olivia, (Mark's girlfriend) has had a pretty horrible past (don't worry, I'll give more details pretty soon into the story) but she has nightmares and panic attacks, so when she does it's pretty hard to calm her down.  I really hope y'all enjoy this story.

Olivia's POV

"Olivia! Olivia!" Mark yelled.  "You're okay, you're not with Zach!"

As soon as he said that, I shot up and immediately started crying.

"It's okay," Mark said, and pulled me into a warm embrace.

I was in his room, sobbing into his shirt, wondering what I did to deserve someone as amazing as him.

I eventually stopped crying when I realized his shirt was soaked- he didn't seem to mind. I lifted my head up and felt him gently kiss my forehead and start to stroke my hair in hopes that it would calm me down.

"Can I ask you a question?" I asked.

"Anything," he immediately responded.

I hesitated.

"Why do you put up with me?"

"Baby," he said. "You know it hurts me when you ask stuff like that. I stay with you because you're amazing, gorgeous, perfect, and I love you. More than anything."

I instantly felt relieved, especially because I knew he'd never leave me because of this.

"I love you, too," I smiled.

He let me go after he realized that I was significantly calmed down.

"Let's do something today. What time is it?" Mark asked as he let out a yawn, clearly not noticing that it wasn't even daylight.

"Ummm... 3:04," I replied, looking outside at the darkness as I checked my phone.

"Good Jesus, Olivia. You wake up entirely too early," Mark said as he let out a laugh.

"Well, I'm sorry, I don't choose to have nightmares."

He could tell I was getting frustrated.

"Babe, I'm sorry. I didn't mean it that way," he said while reaching out his hands for me to take them.

"It's fine," I responded and grabbed his hands.

We were now sitting directly across from each other.

"Let's sleep for a little longer," Mark said.

"Okay..."

He wrapped his arms around me after he let go of my hands.

He suddenly pulled me backwards into his bed.

"Mark. Christopher. Thomas. You know I hate that."

God he got on my nerves sometimes.

"Oops, I forgot. Sorry baby," he said with a pouty face.

"Whatever," I scoffed, pushing him off of me.

He was always so bright eyed and bushy in the mornings, no matter what time it was. Not me.

I pulled up the covers over me to go back to sleep. A few seconds later I found him attempting to wrap his arms around me.

"Stop," I insisted.

"But babe, I want to help you."

"I'm fine, promise."

As soon as I said that, I heard him sigh and felt him get out of bed. He grabbed his guitar sitting by his closet and started playing.

"Listen to this," Mark insisted.

"Maybe I should stay, maybe I should go,
Maybe I should just leave this alone
And if this isn't right, I'm okay with being wrong
Cause I don't wanna miss you when you're gone

We could be perfect or just a disaster
We could be in love and never fight
We could be sad or happy ever after
It could be us instead of you and I
Maybe we should try"

"Mark... Did you write that? It was beautiful."

"With Daniel, yeah," he said.

"I love it."

"I was hoping you would," Mark said with a hint of insecurity in his voice.

"Well I do," I smiled. "Come here."

He dropped his guitar and got up from his chair and started walking over to me.

"I love you." I said as I pulled him into a warm embrace. And like that we fell asleep.
