"Ugh, what?" I asked without opening my eyes.

"Your morning voice is sexy."

"Mark, it's like 6 in the afternoon. It's not exactly morning," I laughed as I tried to sit up and open my eyes.

"Why are you so close up?"

"You didn't think I was going to let your birthday by without a visit from Starbucks, did you?"

"YOU DID NOT. OH MY GOSH."

"Chill, baby girl," Mark laughed as he handed me my favorite drink ever. "But wait, that's not all."

"Open."

Very slowly, I opened the envelope. My mouth immediately dropped.

"No. Way. Tickets to BRETT ELDREDGE? THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!!"

He stood there, smiling, kind of admiring my existence like he did all the time.

"I love you," he smiled, just standing there.
