Chapter 2

The next morning she laid alone in the cave as she turned into a wolf and slowly walked back to the house. She then stopped as she heard a crack and she kept running and running as she made it to the house as she sighed and then went through the doggy door and she raced into the bedroom and laid under the covers and let out a sob. Matthew was not in the house and his car was gone, he left her. She then whimpered as she curled under the bed and laid there in human form under the bed sobbing quietly. About 5 hours later the door opened and Katie was still under the bed as Matthew came into the room and Katie crawled out from under the bed, tear stains on her cheeks as Matthew looked at her, and he walked past her onto the bed as Katie turned and walked into the bathroom where she turned on the water and she took a nice cold shower, just then she slipped on some soap and she fell down, hitting her head on the facet as the water was still running as she almost blacked out before feeling something warm going down her head as she then blacked out.
    Katie woke up in her bed, Matthew next to her she groaned as she got up but Matthew kept her down with his arm
"Your on strict bed rest, Katie" Matthew said as he got up and walked to the door
"Matthew, why are you mad at me?" Katie said as she sat up
"It's nothing" Matthew answered as Katie sighed
"Fine" she said as Katie then turned onto her side as she closed her eyes as the bed make a noise as she felt a warm arm around her waste as she turned over wincing as she curled into his chest as Matthew kissed her head and Katie sighed, the head wound was healed but she still had a major headache.
    Katie woke up as she got up and Matthew want in the bed as she got up and tried to walk as she changed into her wolf form and she then trotted down the stairs and she didn't see Matthew so she looked around and found him, cooking steak on the grill. Katie licked her muzzle and she walked out onto the lawn and she barked as Matthew turned around with a chuckle as Matthew walked over and stroke Katie's furry ears as she looked up and did a doggie smile. As Matthew turned to cook and Katie then raced to the room and transformed back to a human and she put a new set of clothes on. She then jogged down the stairs and out to the lawn and she walked up and she wrapped her arms around his waste and she laid her head on his back as Matthew turned and he had the steaks as Katie detached her arms and she chuckled as they sat down on the grass as they ate the steak and Katie wolfed it down, she was hungry and her wolf was also. Katie sighed as she then finished up the last piece of steak and she got up and she stood while Matthew got up and she closed the space as she kissed Matthew and Matthew then picked Katie up a brought her to the room and laid her down as they kissed. Katie soon fell asleep in Matthew's arms as she smiled and drifted off into sleep.
