Chapter 2: "Rise"

Serenity's P.O.V

I used to be afraid of giving up

The road was just too tough

Out here on my own

My path was so alone

But now I see clearly

Everything within me

Is reaching up to the sky

I can see the world with open eyes

You can't let it pass you

Just take hold and grasp it

Now's the time to take a chance

With the strength of a thousand men

Climbing to my feet again

So dry those tears from your eyes

And everything will be alright

You know the rainbow's just in sight

Dust your wings off as you rise

If your heart feels overwhelmed

Just know you're never by yourself

Put your hand in mine, hold your head up high

And together we'll rise

A few days after the encounter with the new boys the Queens of Breaking were trying to come up with a plan on how this breaking will go along. Now I was sure that they was players in the last few days Nick and his buddy Logan had been with almost the entire girls of the student body except for me and Abby of course, but that ain't no surprise at all. "So Serenity what are we going to do about this breaking it's no different from the others we've been through," Abby said sitting up from my bed as we go through the book of breakings with the plans of every breaking we had done. It was now after school and we had nothing else to do since the student council meeting was canceled, so we decided to just come back to mine and think of a plan.

"I don't know, but I can tell you one thing," I said smirking at her.

She looked and smiled at me while saying, "And what will that be."

I returned the smile with an even bigger one and hers just grew right along with mine. "That these boys are just no different than the others. They won't be any type of challenge at all before they know it they will be at our feet begging us to be with them and not leave their sides," I say and we both started to burst out laughing our asses off making Damon and Jason running upstairs to see what the commotion was about. That just made us laugh even harder making me and Abby role off the bed in laughing fits and Damon and Jason join in with us.

When we sobered up Damon had spotted the book of breakings and before I could reach out and get it he snatched it in his hands and started to go through it. I bit my bottom lip nervous of what he's thinking right now and tried to snatch it away from him, but he quickly tossed it over to Jason who perfectly caught it in his hands and started flipping through it.

Abby was now hot on her feet and reached up to try and grab it but to no avail the next thing you know she slipped and fell causing her to fall onto the floor on top of Jason and I started laughing. I then stopped laughing when something or rather someone had tackled me onto my bed and I was staring up at his eyes and an emotion I couldn't tell flickered in them and then quickly vanish.

He leaned down and before I could tell what he was doing he kissed me and I kissed him back wrapping my arms around his neck and was like that for about a minute until he sat up taking me along with him not breaking the kiss and wrapped my legs around his waist pushing me up against my headboard.
