The next day I went to Starbucks to chat with Rita, and I told her what happened. "Just breathe. I will help you and Dea will help you through this. And Brian is super sweet and will help you too." She told me. So, I waited the most stressful four weeks of my life and waited until my family was going to the Georgia Fair. We lived close to Georgia even though we were in Tennessee, and it was a tradition for our family to go each year. That morning I woke up and I actually threw up. At that point I was convinced I was pregnant, which scared me a lot. My mom saw me throwing up and said that I should stay home. Dea "volunteered" to stay home with me, mainly because I had to get my hands on a pregnancy test. We waited until my parents were gone and then called Brian. "Brian, I think I might be pregnant but I need you to take us to the store to buy one. All my family is gone besides Dea and we've got about 3 hours. "Babe, just because we had sex doesn't mean your pregnant." Brian said. "Brian, I haven't had my period in a month, I threw up this morning, and I feel nauseous." I replied. "Oh. Well I can't come over for two more hours. My moms making us do a luncheon." He said. "Well come as soon as possible." I said. Once Brian came we got in the car and went into the pharmacy. One of the bad things of living in a small town is there is only one of every store, basically meaning there was only one pharmacy. We walked into the pharmacy, and went down the small two aisles in the store. On the bottom shelf near the cracked tile there was one pregnancy test left. We took it to the cashier, who was my neighbor Mr. Jones. He gave us an odd look, but I honestly didn't care. Rita came over to our house and I tore the box open. There was 6 tests in it and I took all 6 just to make sure. I peed on the stick and waited the agonizing 20 minutes while it processed. Two lines faintly appeared on every test. Two lines meant positive. It was official, I was pregnant.
