Chapter 4

Silver Pov

We walked to the bonfire area on the beach.

"Glad you can join us." Sam said walking up to me

"Well thank you for the invitation.Im aware that you want us to tell you why we stayed to ourselves on the mountain correct?" I asked looking him in the eye.

"If you wouldn't mind of course.Our elders are just curious." Sam said with a serious and curious tone.

I nodded my head as my pack left for some food.

"My apologies if they eat all your food" I said as I seen the boys having a food contest.

"Don't worry about it.My pack eats more than yours because Emily,my imprint, spoils them" Sam said with a chuckle

Sam then left towards the cliffs.

I seen the human girl from before.

"Silver!C'mon!" Jakob shouted pointing to the cliffs.

I nodded and began walking.

"Looks like our talk will have to wait." I said as I continued forward.

The boys were pushing and shoving all the way up.

"Hey Silver since your a girl are you jumping from the bottom cliff closer to the water?!" Paul said in a taunting voice.

"I guess we'll see" I shrugged as I followed them up.

When we reached the top the boys were all scared.

My pack even the girls came up with us.

"Seth you go first!" Paul shouted

"Why don't you go first Paul!" Travis said

I looked at the girls and they looked at me.

"Dakoda,Sarah, and Nickoli jump first and make a circle for me to go through" I muttered

They nodded there heads and charged towards the cliff and jumped off.

The boys were still arguing not even noticing that the girls jumped.

"Get out of the way!" I shouted running through them into the cool air.

I did a summer salt in the air and dive straight to the water where the girls are waiting in circle position.

I landed in the water right in the middle.

I swam up to the surface to see the boys standing there with there mouths hanging open.

"C'mon and you call yourselves men!" I shouted as the girls began laughing as we swam to the shore.

"Wooo!!!" I heard from the cliff

We turned around just to see all the boys jumping off the cliff into the water.

They then swam to shore as we were there waiting for them.

"I-It's v-very c-cold!" they started saying shivering like little

"Man up you guys!" Sarah said laughing a bit.

We then walked back to the campfire.

We listened to the elders talk about the past and how the tribe had came to be.

"We are quite curious on how your pack came to be.I hope you don't mind telling us the story." Billy Black said

"It's perfectly fine.My parents were murdered when I was rather young.I was taken away from my home and was forced to live with the ones who killed them.I ran away one night and fled as fast as I can.I made it somewhere in Texas I believe and was with a pack.There was a Civil War and a man was helping civilians escape but I was shot.The man cared for me but was told to leave me.I later left that pack and came here and I seen these pups and took care of them." I told them
