The Start of Something New

Pond Road Middle School, what pops into my head is boring, and when you hear boring you think Social Studies with Mrs. Pinner and boring substitutes. But this time was different. There I sat, waiting against the wall, staring out through the window. It was a breezy November evening, and all I wanted to do was go home. But, after today, I would never think of leaving 8th period LA with a substitute. I watched as a little plump lady with a funky red-orange color hairdo walked through the door simply ignoring all of the students.

"Well this is just gonna be great," I thought, but my hopes and dreams were lifted as I saw the miraculous and amazing Tobby walk through the door. His gleaming blond hair, and shiny new sneakers, Tobby was in a confident mood. Things were about to get interesting. Tobby walked in and immediately sat down, very unlike himself. I crept into the room unsure of what was going on and saw  the other troublemaker Platt whispering something into his ear. Sitting next to Tobby was a privilege and a punishment. This time it payed off, before the teacher had even began to give instructions, Tobby and Platt were ready to have the greatest class ever, and no one, not even Mr. Lizzo the principal could stop them.
