School and After School Ruckus

My Noonim

Frankenstein's living room was absolutely silent. All the other nobles and the modified humans (and one human) present in the room were behaved like school children. For in their midst were the two most powerful figureheads of Lukedonia: the symbol of authority, the Lord Raskreia, and the symbol of power, Rai, the Noblesse.

The serenity was broken like a spell when a stomach grumbled. Everyone turned their attention to Tao, who grinned from ear to ear. He apologized sheepishly for his stomach acting on its own.

"It's not time for us to eat yet, you know?" Takeo whispered to him from the side.

"Ara, ara," Tao whispered back.

Raskreia knitted her eyebrows as she was staring at her ramen. Rai had told her that if you wait for some minutes, your ramen will multiply. She didn't know the logic behind it either, but yeah, she believed the words the Noblesse had said. After all, the Noblesse was not one to joke around.

"Did Raizel-nim's ramen multiply already?" Raskreia asked him, and she got a nod in response.

The Lord watched as the Noblesse retrieve his pair of chopsticks for the meal. Frankenstein's heart fluttered in happiness to see his master eating the updated recipe he had made. He was always willing to move heaven and earth, or to pluck the stars out of the sky, just to feed a nice, warm, and hearty bowl of luscious ramen to Rai. He was feeling like a mother who looks affectionately at her children eating deliciously the meal that she cooked.

Though he could not read the Noblesse' mind, he knew Rai would probably had been saying "mashisseo" all these times.

As for Raskreia, seeing the Noblesse eating silently with his ramen, she knew she had to eat already. Taking the pair of chopsticks, she broke the two apart, like how Rai taught her way back. She also silently digged into her ramen and ate. This ramen tasted better than the one Tao brought in Lukedonia.

"Awww, Noonim looks so cute when she eats," Karias said aloud.

Rael, Regis, and Seira turned to Karias in shocked, for he had said the forbidden word. Calling someone "noona" or "noonim" is absolutely fine, but addressing it to someone of higher rank, status, or title is a major no-no, so they were shocked. Regis could just facepalm if he were so casual and inelegant, but he was not. So he had to call the attention of the noble much older than he is.

"Karias-nim! That's not the right way to address our Lord!"

Raskreia rolled her eyeballs in her mind and sighed. Karias was Karias, and her father liked the young noble a lot because of the semblance of their demeanor. But still, it was impolite of him to say that. But then, no matter how much scolding Karias would get, he would just let all of these slip through the other ear.

"Bu-but, it is true! Noonim is so cute!" Karias reacted.

"You really didn't get it!" hot-headed Rael reacted.

"Enough with it already," Raskreia roared, her voice full of authority. She did not want anyone fighting when the ramen was so good. Turning to Frankenstein, she ordered. "All of you should start to eat now."

"Yes, my Lady," Frankenstein replied with a gentlemanly and handsome smile.

Raskreia sighed again. She did not know if he was intending to call her that way, or he was joking around. But hearing from Gejutel that it's just being Frankenstein, she let it slide.

"Woohoo! I'm famished!" Tao remarked with a grin on his face.
