It's Sunday, at 4:13 PM, inside of New Stone church. Sitting in a pew about 3 pews away from the door was Micheal and his friends, Brian and Tanya. The mass just started, and Micheal was visiting his friends, but it was Sunday, and Micheal wasn't a Christian. Micheal only sat there and thought about getting back to the house and playing some video games. When the mass ended and the friends left, Tanya and Micheal were watching stores that they passed by while at a mall. Brian was just listening to music. Tanya and Micheal were interested in gaming and Brian was just someone who tagged along. Tanya and Micheal always eyed the gaming stores that had the new games and even some new systems. They usually made Brian come in with them, but one store, almost every single time they passed by it, had one thing that none of the other stores had. The brand-new Virtual-Gear, a headset made completely for Virtual Gaming, but not just normal VR gaming. The Virtual-Gear had technology that would put you in a sleep like trance, and connect the senses of your brain, and have them as inputs in the game. "Oh Micheal, Look!" , yelled Tanya as she pointed at the poster outside the store. "It's the Virtual-Gear! I have always wanted that!" Brian frowned and said, "It's expensive, and I don't think that my mom would like me taking gaming this far. Micheal just ignored his comment and took Tanya by the hand and walked to the store. "My mom is giving me a ton of money for my birthday, so I am going to be able to get one probably. How about you Tanya?" , said Micheal. Tanya looked at him with a grin, "My dad is rich, so he might get me one." Brian just cocked an eyebrow up and said, "You two are really getting this thing?" "I bet there are barely any games on the market." Micheal looked at him with a serious look on his face. "Are you kidding me!? Of course there are games on the market!" Brian just frowned and said, "Only 3 games though." Tanya flipped her hair to her side and looked at Brian with a look Micheal knew. She was about to have a huge explanation. "Yes, there are only 3 games, but those games give plenty! The first game is a fantasy MMO with swords and magic! The second is a Shooting game with snipers, pistols, you name it!" "And the third game, well, lets just say its in beta." Tanya said with a small sigh. Brian just looked at her, not surprised that Tanya knew all that information about it. It was normal that she knew a lot about games. "I'm just not as pumped to get this Virtual-Gear as you guys are." ,said Brian as he looked at his watch. Micheal and Tanya had spent 10 minutes browsing the store, but Brian just followed them as they went. Soon, something caught Micheal's eye. It was an ad showing a contest for winning a Virtual-Gear. "Hey guys, look! A contest to win a free Virtual-Gear with one of the games!" ,yelled Michael. There were only 3 registration papers left. Micheal ran up to grab one but someone took one before he got it and bumped him away. "Sorry," said the stranger as he walked away. With only 2 papers left, Micheal struggled to get past the crowd in the store. Micheal had just grabbed a paper when a strange black glove had grabbed the same paper Micheal had gotten. Micheal had looked up at the stranger and only saw a figure in black clothing. Even his face was covered, only his eyes showed. "I'm sorry sir." ,said Micheal quickly. The strange figure let go of the paper and grabbed the one behind it and said, "No, that was my fault. Sorry." ,the figure said with a strange tone and accent that sounded very un-human. Micheal just stared at him, thanked him, then got back to his friends after the figure walked off. "Who was he?" ,Brian said with uneasiness in his voice. Micheal just looked at them both with confusion and said, "I don't know. He was covered, so I couldn't see his face." Tanya and Brian just looked at him with confusion as well. Micheal tried to calm them by inviting them to his house, so they drove to Michael's house and sat down at the table and registered for the contest. When Michael's friends left and Micheal feel asleep, the only thing he could remember was that strange figure at the mall, and one question remained in his head. Who was he?
