Chapter II

Micheal woke up the next morning, realizing he had just got an email from the contest he had entered. He quickly got his phone to check the email and read what it had said. Micheal had entered as one of the 3 finalists in contest. Micheal was so excited he immediately ran downstairs to tell his mom, only to find that she already left for work. Micheal called his friends Tanya and Brian to tell them the news. Tanya and Brian came over to Micheal's house by the next hour. Tanya had been yelling in excitement, "We are in the finals! We could all win a Virtual-Gear!" Tanya and Micheal jumped up in excitement. Brian got up as well and said something that made their confidence shrink. "5 finalists, we are 3 of them. And there are only 3 winners that will receive a Virtual-Gear." Micheal immediately stopped and sat back down. "Well that means that most likely only 2 of us are gonna get one." Micheal said with a sigh. Then Michael's phone rang, then Tanya's, but not Brian's. "Guys, I won!!" yelled Micheal as he hung up the phone. "So did I!" Tanya said as she hung up her phone. Brian knew that he didn't win and said, "I wonder who was the other winner." Micheal thought i was probably another person who was addicted to gaming. Micheal ended the thought and said, "well, come on! Let's go and claim our prize!" They drove to a mall about 50 miles away, and when they got to the mall, they went straight towards the game store. When they got there, they were surprised to see who had won the other Virtual-Gear. It was the figure with the black coat. Micheal had remembered yesterday, seeing that figure at the mall with its creepy looking coat. Then the announcer came on the speaker. "Ladies and Gentlemen, i am pleased to announce the winners of the contest! First up, is Tanya Bellsing!" Tanya ran up to the announcer to claim her prize. She came back to Micheal with such excitement. The announcer continued. "Next up we have, Micheal Brusher!" Micheal too went up quickly to get his prize, and came back with the same feeling Tanya had. Micheal then waited for the announcer to continue. "And last, but not least we have," The announcer paused for 5 seconds then continued. "Anonymous in black!" The crowd didn't do anything when the figure went up and claimed his prize. When he did, he bowed and walked off the stage, then came straight towards Micheal and Tanya. Micheal shivered when the black figure came up to him, and again the figure spoke. "I see that you have won, and i hope to meet you in the game that us three received." Tanya had returned the greeting. "We hope so too! See you!" The figure walked away. Micheal turned his head quickly to Tanya's and said, "Do you know him?" Tanya just laughed. "Of course not! I'm just trying to be nice." Brian had caught up to them. "Hey. Let's get back to your house and use these things." Micheal looked at him. "What are you gonna do while me and Tanya are playing?" Brian sighed. "I guess I'll watch some videos or listen to music." So Micheal and his friends went back to his house, and set up the Virtual-Gear. "Wow! This is amazing!" ,said Tanya with great excitement. "I know, right?!" ,answered Micheal. Micheal fitted the headset over his head and lay in his bed and inserted the game they got. "Essix Online. I'm guessing the fantasy one?" Micheal asked. Tanya looked at him and nodded. Micheal then relaxed and turned on the Virtual-Gear. All hr had to do now was enter the world of Essix Online. He took a deep breath, "I'll meet you inside Tanya." Both Tanya and Micheal said the words to start it all. "Link start!"
