"Valarie, wait up!" I stop and look at him, the biggest nerd in school. I feel bad though, he's bullied all the time. He doesn't deserve it, he's nice. Just a little... Clingy.
"Yes Marcel?" He takes a deep breath and stares into my eyes.
"Well... Uh, I was wondering if you would maybe want to go out sometime?" My eyes widen, did he really just ask me that? My friends look at him and snicker. Marcel glances at them but then back at me. His eyes look so full of hope.
"You really think she would go somewhere with you?"
"He's such a loser."
"Why don't you just go and le-"
"I'll do it." Marcel grows a huge smile, he smirks at Madison. He does look kinda cute if you really think about it. I mean, he is a huge geek. Always slicked back hair, thick rimmed glasses, and slacks on always, but he is adorable.
"Val, what the hell are you talking about? I'm not going to let you waste your Friday night on a loser like him?" She looks at Marcel and scrunches up her face.
"Madi, shut up! Keep your opinion to yourself please. Thank you. So, tonight, around 8 sound good?" His mouth is hanging open, he snaps out of it and nods.
"What is Brad going to think?"
"God Madi! Shut up!"
