Loving My Ememy (L x Light)

Chapter 9

Continuation of the last chapter!

Misa's p.o.v.

It's been such a long time since I've used my death Note, but I think I put it to good use killing Troy. He was so rude, telling me to lose my feelings for Light. Well news for him, it will never happen. Light and I will be forever once I kill L off. Yeah...once I kill L. I don't even know his name, should I just ask? I don't even know what to do anymore, but I do know that I should leave Troy's grave and let him rest in peace.

I get up from the soft soil from under me and wipe myself off. I start walking down the pathway and notice Rem is right behind me like usual, "So Rem, I think its almost time for me to do it." She just stares at the path before her and answers with a hum. "So can you give me the eyes?" I could feel her staring at me with intensity. "Just a little longer Misa." I started getting angry with Rem but I couldn't lash out on her in public because it would seem as if was talking to myself.

My pace gradually increased as I headed home from this long day. After a couple minutes of walking I stepped into my house and immediately went into my dark room. I flopped down on my bed and let out a big sigh. Rem just looked at my from above and gave me a confused look. "Misa why are you pouting?" I just kept pouting and crossed my arms. Rem let out a faint sigh, "Fine Misa, just remember that i'll have to take half of your remaining life span." I automatically popped up in the sitting position with my hands on my lap and a huge smile on my face, "It's okay Rem! I need to do this for the sake of Light and I."

Light's p.o.v.

L and I walk back to the office building to get some work done after the funeral. On the way back L grabs my hand and looks at me with kind eyes. "It'll be okay. This job is very dangerous and he knew that, even if it meant risking his own life." His words touched my heart, but it was still really sad seeing Troy die right in front of my eyes. It was almost traumatizing, now I knew the feeling of watching someone important die. L and I walked into the office along with everyone else, they were all still so depressed so we decided to let them go home. L and I were the only ones left in the office, it was a bit awkward but other than the somewhat sad feeling it was fine. L was working on the second Kira case and I sat there watching The 100. Leaving L would be the last thing I want to do now, i'm afraid someone is going to come after him next. I starred blankly at the tiny tv screen in front of me.

I couldn't follow anything on the screen, my mind was just filled with Troys hurt face. I heard something moving on my right side but I didn't take my eyes off the screen. All of a sudden there was someone on my lap. My eyes were now focused on L's dark eyes. He laid his head on my chest, his fluffy hair tickled the bottom of my chin. "Seeing you like this is so sad, please try to cheer up." I look down at L who is looking straight into my eyes. My hand slowly makes its way up to his face, cupping his cheek. "I'll try just for you." I say leaning in to give L a light kiss on the lips. Leaving L's soft lips were hard, I wanted to keep kissing him. L gave me puppy dog eyes, "What Ryuzaki?" I said with a small giggle. "May I have more of Lights sweet taste?" My cheeks burned at the way his eyes lit when he said that. I leaned in hesitantly, L grabbed my face and kissed me deeply. I was shocked at this sudden movement but it felt nice being able to kiss someone that you love so deeply. Both of us pulled away gasping for air. L's cheeks were really red but so were mine. I started feeling a pain in my lower half, but then I realized this pain was the pain of having a boner. L was still on my lap so I got even more embarrassed. "You know I can feel it right?" L said with a small smirk on his face. He started moving his hips, my whole face was red at this point. "L please..." His devious smirk turned into a frown. "Do you not like it?" He looked so heartbroken, I couldn't bare to see him like this. "I do it just, hurts." I said looking away from him awkwardly. "Do you want me to fix it?" He whispered in my ear. I swear my soul flew away. "Uhh..." He planted light kisses on my neck which made small moans escape. "L im sorry, I-I can't." He pulled away from my neck, "Fine, but next time i'm going for it no matter what." He got off of my lap and walked back to his desk. "I have to go to the bathroom, i'll be right back."

I enter the bathroom, the main reason I was here to fix what hurt. I walked into a stall and locked it. Quickly reliving myself of the pain I grab some toilet paper and clean up my mess. After cleaning the mess I walk to the sink and quickly wash my hands. I glance up at the mirror and jump at the sudden sight of Ryuk standing behind me. "God dammit Ryuk, why do you do this to me?" He just laughed a little. "Is there something you wanted to tell me?" His laugh disappeared and his face became serious. "Light, a serious threat may be coming your way." I gave him a confused look signaling him to go on. "I think Misa may be up to something and it's not very good." He continues, "I think she's planning on Killing L." My face turned pale, "WHAT?!" Ryuk covered my mouth with his big hands, "Shhh L might hear you!" I pulled his hands off of my mouth, "How will she kill him? Is she the second Kira?" He looks straight into my eyes, "Misa is the second Kira unfortunately, she also has a Shinagami named Rem. Though Misa might not know L's real name, Rem could give her the Shinigami eyes." I stopped him mid sentence, "Shinigami Eyes? What's that?" He shot daggers in my direction. "Anyway, the Shinigami eyes are a power that lets you see everyones real name, but the thing is that you lose half of your remaining life span if you decide to take the offer." I didn't have any words all I could do was sit there in shock. I need to get L to leave this place, and fast!
