I was beyond tears,
The pain retched inside my chest,
Ripping apart every last piece of hope I had left,
My body jerked back and forth,
With the dry laughter,
The silent sobs,
My voice tore through all barriers,
It was lost and wandering,
It was cold,
Piercing,
There was darkness in my eyes,
My knees pulled to my chest,
Fingers gripping for sanity at my elbows,
Sadly,
Behind these eyelids,
The story of my sorrow replayed,
Endlessly,
Heartlessly,
I breathed, before, once again,
My voice ripped the air to shreds,
Because,
I was beyond tears,
