Chapter 5

(Naya's POV)

Today, I decided to help my sister, Pia with her bookstore. I like the idea she did with it because it's like a library style, But the tables and the chairs are in the middle while the books are surrounding it and you could read the books. That's why I always go there, plus, Pia doesn't care if they just read that book and they dont buy it she only likes to make people happy, besides we have the money anyway, this is just to pass time.

I went out my white lamborghini gallardo superleggera and put my shades on top of my head. I entered the store and went to the cashier where I found my sister laid back with her feet up the counter a d reading a book.

"Maybe you should change the name of this store to 'The National Sacramento Library.'"

I rested my arm on the counter and smirked.

"Naya, you know there are more branches not only here in Sacramento."

I chuckled.

"Then maybe you should name this branch that."

She hit my shoulder while I just laughed.

"So, where's Candice?"

Candice is the cashier here.

"I let her go home first. I was bored sooo."

I shook my head and chuckled.

"I don't know why you even hire cashiers, your the one taking over always anyway."

She shrugged. I shook my head and faced the shelves. I noticed a girl who looks awfully familiar trying to get a book from the upper shelf but she can't. I decided to go there and help her.

"Do you need help?"

"Uh... yeah. I cant reach the book there at the upper shelf."

She faced me and her jaw dropped. She just stared at me with her mouth hung open. I shook my head and got the book for her. I gave it to her and she got it, still staring at me.

"Hello? Hii!! Are you there?"

Then she blinked many times and started blushing.

"Sorry, I just didn't expect to see you here."

"What you think I'm not the reading type?"

"No,no. Not that I- I uh..."

"Don't worry Lauren. It's ok."

She just nodded awkwardly while rubbing the back of her neck.

"Soo... Who was the girl you were talking with a while ago?"

Then I noticed her glancing at my back. I looked back and I saw Pia looking at us, smirking might I add.

"Oh, her... She's my sister.... She is the owner of this store."

"oh."

We both glanced at the back. Pia waved and we both waved back. I faced her and chuckled.

"Why did you ask?"

"Nothing, just curious."

I smiled and nodded. Me and Lauren just sat down and talked about the band.

"I saw your youtube channel by the way and might I say, you have a really beautiful voice."

"Thanks, you  have a beautiful voice too."

"NAYA!!"

I faced Pia and saw she was gesturing me that we will leave already since Cindy already came back. I faced Lauren and gave her a sad smile.

"I have to go... We are still gonna film the sibling tag today so we have to leave early."

"Um.. yeah, ok sure, see you."

"It was nice meeting you though."

"Yeah, you too."

I flashed her one last smile the  I went to Pia who was standing there with a smirk on her face.

"Wipe that smirk off tour face."

She laughed.

"Let's go?"

I nodded and we went out but before I was really out, I faced Lauren and gave her one last smile and a wave. She smiled and waved back. I entered my car and drove home with Pia following at the back.
