Alright finally getting around to explaining my AU.

Now y'all can understand much better.

1958-1969

Fazbear's Frights-

I had Fazbear's Frights be a horror attraction (as it is in the original game) but unlike the real FNAF game, it did not contain Springtrap! Springtrap was created much later after the horror attraction and did not take place there at all! Instead, Fazbear's Frights had the Nightmares (Nightmare Freddy, Nightmare Bonnie, Nightmare Chica, Nightmare Foxy, Nightmare Fredbear, and lastly, Nightmare). They are the originals in my AU and the first robots to be built in the Fazbear franchise. It closed down due to many accidents, the animatronics AI would sometimes glitch therefore they would sometimes hurt or wound the tourists with their sharp claws and/or teeth. The robots were not scrapped but they were shut down permanently. For now.

1971-1978

Fredbear's Family Diner-

Fazbear's Entertainment decided to open a new sort of attraction due to their first one (Fazbear's Frights) being so popular. They changed the name 'Fazbear' to 'Fredbear' as to not spike any uninvited memories of their old horror attraction which had caused a few mishaps. The diner was rather small and only consisted of two animatronics, Fredbear and Basil the Bunny (later known as Springtrap). The diner was not running for very long, both robots had a slightly more different structure for both the endoskeleton and the exoskeleton. The design of the animatronics was named 'Springlock' for a human is able to put on/go inside the animatronic as long as the robot is shut off (if not the gears and components of all sorts would severely grind/injure the person that is inside the suit). The Springlock structure was needed for the animatronics did not have a very efficient power source, therefore they had to be put on a sort of standby/charging mode (same as shutting them down but they're still conscious but their gears are shut down) hourly. While charging the workers would attire the suits and play for the show. The restaurant was shut down due to another accident, only this time involving the springlock suites.

1980-1987

Freddy Fazbear's Pizzeria-

After Fredbear's Diner came Freddy Fazbear's Pizzeria, which only included Fredbear (renamed to Golden Freddy), Freddy Fazbear, and Foxy the Pirate Fox. The new establishment gained popularity very quickly. Although in the year 1984, a cruel incident occurred taking the lives of five children and three others. Golden Freddy was shut down and believed to be scrapped. The two remaining robots continued playing for their shows throughout the years but the restaurant had a very rough time trying to get by without being shutdown. Finally, in the year 1987, the infamous accident occurred, named 'The Bite of '87'. Both remaining animatronics were shut down for two years.

1989-2000

Freddy Fazbear's Pizzeria (Reopening)-

The establishment was reopened with both Freddy Fazbear and Foxy the Pirate Fox, along with two new characters, Bonnie the Bunny and Chica the Chicken. It ran for a while but shut down later on due to the older robots, Freddy and Foxy, start having AI problems (shutting down randomly, lashing out at costumers or workers, etc.) and they were getting old. All animatronics were shut down and left in storage.

2000-(still going)

Freddy Fazbear's Pizzeria (New and Improved)-

At last, Fazbear's Entertainment opened a (still) lasting and very successful attraction. Freddy, Bonnie, Chica, and Foxy had replacements with a new design, known as the 'Toys' due to their plastic outer shell and shiny aesthetics. The new robots run much smoother with few glitches and run on a very efficient battery source.
