Nicole's POV
i changed in to something more comfortable so that i could go to the park. i got my penny board and went down stairs. "hey mom im going to the park with Justin" i said. "ok Hun come before 9 got it" she said. "yeah ok" i said "Bye" i added. "Bye" she said. i walked out and got on my penny board.
i got to the park and saw Justin he motioned for me to come over. i walked over and saw Matthew. oh god not here i said mentally. i walked up to Justin and asked. "hey Justin what is Matthew doing here?" i asked. "he just wanted to long board with us." he said. "so you invited him" i said. "yeah sorry" he said.
Matthew came up to me. oh great. "hey Nicole can i talk to you please" he said. "what do you want Matthew" i said. " i just want to say sorry for what i said i didn't mean it that way i just wanted to say that you are really pretty but you know how i am i am dumb ass for telling you that way at lunch will you give me another chance" he said with pleading eyes. "Why should i believe you i bet you just want to get in my pants" i said."why do you think thats what i want" he said. "because thats why you do with girls" i said. "but i have changed over the summer because something bad happened but i dont want to talk about it"he said. "ok i will give you a chance i guess" i said. "good ill show you that i have changed, now lets go and long board" he said. " i have a penny board i said will starting ti board.
i couldn't do tricks like the boys but i could board so thats why counts right. I had been penny boarding for an hour so i stopped and sat down by Justin's backpack. Matthew came up to me and sat beside me. "are you tired already" he said. "already we have been here for an hour" i said. "thats not that long" he said. "well imma go get some ice cream you want to come" i said. his face lit up and nodded like a five year old. i just laughed and started walking to Justin to ask hi if he wanted to him. he tells me to hold his bike and runs like a dinosaurs making noises and gets his bag i laugh at how they both act. we started walking to the ice cream place i was full inside. we older and went out side with our ice creams.
after we finish we i started walking to my house it was about 8 or so so it was some what dark. i felt someone walk behind me i looked and didn't see anyone. i kept on walking and someone grabbed my wrist. "hey baby girl" the guy said. "let go of me" i said struggling to get lose. "hey leave her alone" Matthew said. "yeah what are you going to do about it" the guy said. "this" Matthew said and picked up his long board and hit the guy. i felt someone get a hold of my hand and saw it was Justin. "what are you doing we need to go get Matthew" i said. "no leave him he can handle it" he said. "what are you talking about he can get hurt" i said while letting go of Justin hand and running back. i saw Matthew was on the floor. "Matthew get up" i started to get a lump on my throat trying not to cry. Justin ran after me and saw me trying to make Matthew get up. he helped me pick him up. "lets take him to my house" i said.
