Marshall's p.o.v
I chuckled at the shocked look on Johnson's face. "Do you guys wanna come to my house for a little while?" she asked us as we started walking down the street to our house. I turned on my heel, "I, for one, would love to. What about you guys?" I asked as I looked back at my friends and sister. They smiled, then nodded their heads. "I'm actually going to go get Jacey and Anastasia from their house. Is it cool if they come?" Georgia asked Alexia and she gladly accepted the invitation of more people, "The more, the merrier." she said to Hunter's sister, who then skipped off toward our house. Then she turned to Johnson, "No." she simply said, then his face fell into a pout. I chuckled at him and threw my arm over her shoulder, "Shall we?" she smiled up at me, "We shall." Then she started walking in the opposite direction of the house party I had just come from. After we got to the house, she walked into her kitchen, "SHIT!" I heard her whisper-yell. "Who wants to come with me to the store?" she asked as she emerged into the living room with her purse on her arm and her phone and keys in her hand.Alexia's p.o.v
Marshall raised his hand, as he looked over to Hunter and his sister cuddled up on my brand-new Sofía Vergara sofa set, "Wait here for Mia. She should be back any second." he instructed them. "If any of the boys come over, don't let them in. I mean it." I said as I pointed my finger in Hunter's face as Georgia giggled. I turned and walked out of the door with Marshall following. I opened my garage with the remote and walked over to my red mustang, passing the black lamborghini on the way. "You have two cars? And you choose the 'Stang over the Lambo'? What is wrong with you and where did you get the money?" Marshall asks quickly. I spun around, surprised with his tone and raised an eyebrow, "Would you rather take the Lambo'?" I asked him. He shook his head no and shrugged his shoulders. "I'm taking the mustang because the trunk is bigger. Now, get in." I motioned him to get in the car. I started it and drove off.Thirty minutes late, we pulled into the Wal*Mart parking lot and I parked the car kinda far away. I got out and leaned back in the car, "Are you coming?" I asked him. "So far." he replied as he looked towards the store. I laughed, "If you come on, I will buy you two things of your choice." He smiled and got out of the car. As we walked towards the door, he grabbed a cart from one of the returns and grabbed my hand. I looked up at him with confusion in my eyes. He smiled at me, "Just go with it, It feels right with you. Unless you feel uncomfortable, then we can stop." He loosened his grip on my hand, but I gave his hand a squeeze, "It's okay. I like it." I replied, blushing and looking at the ground. We walked into the store and headed straight to the food section. Marshall headed to the chips, while I went to get ice cream. I walked to the chip aisle with four tubs of ice cream in arms, when I got there, I froze. Marshall was kissing a girl with long, black hair and she was wearing a crop top that ended way too soon and shorts that did the same. I, simply walked up to him and dropped the ice cream in the cart. "Alexia, this isn't what it looks like. She-she..." I cut him off, "It's fine. You kissed someone, we aren't a thing. It's fine. Really. I'll be in the frozen aisle getting hot pockets and pizzas when you're done here." I pulled the cart away from him and walked off. Instead of going to the frozen food where I said I would be, I went to the aisle with the bedding. I sat n a display chair that they had sitting in the middle of the aisle and I tried to calm down. I thought he like me, I thought he really liked me. How stupid could I be? Of course he doesn't like me. No one could like me, ever. I'm just a stupid, worthless, piece-of-shit. I'm broken, who would want to be with me? No one, that's who. I ran to the frozen food section and grabbed the hot pockets. Just as I was putting the last box in the cart, Marshall came running around the corner, "Where were you Alexia? I was just in this aisle and you weren't here. I wanna talk about what happened." he rushed to explain. I sighed, "There's nothing to talk about Marshall. I'm going to get the chips, since we seem to have forgotten. Can you get the soda, while I get the chips?" I asked slowly, trying not to cry. He nodded and took over pushing the cart for me, I smiled at him and walked behind him to the chip aisle. I felt tears welling up in my eyes, so I put on my sunglasses and texted the one person I could trust with anything. I texted my best friend, Matthew Lee Espinosa. ((Convo)) M-Matt A-AlexiaA-I'm so stupidM-What happened?A-I thought he liked me. God, I'm so stupidM-Who?A-Guy named Marshall. I smiled and walked up to him, "Hey Mar?" I said as I approached him. "Mar? Really? Anyways, what's up?" he asked. "Yes really. Listen, I forgot that I had to do something for my friend today, so he's gonna pick me up in a couple minutes. Could you run this stuff to my house and I'll be there soon?" I asked in a hurry." He put my sunglasses on top of my head and saw the tears, threatening to spill over. I sighed as one slid down my cheek. "I knew it. I'm sorry that she kissed me. It's my ex and I try to avoid her, but it doesn't work all the time. Sometimes, she happens to be in the same place as me. I wanna get to know you, I think you're beautiful and I've heard alot about you, so I want to get to know you better." He explained. I took a deep breath, "Marshall, listen-" I got cut off by my phone ringing. It was Matt, "I have to go Mar. I'll see you at my house." I handed him two $100s, along with my keys and walked away quickly.
