I lied next to her and put my arm under her side. I didn't want to put it on her otherside, because I did not want to hurt where she got gravel burn. Her side was bleeding but I didn't care about getting blood on me. I just wanted to be as close to her as I could get.
Her phone was on the bed table next to us and I thought I'd hold on to it for her. I picked it up and stuck it in my pocket.
Her heart monitor kept speeding up, then it would go back to a normal rate.
It scared me. What if she... I shook my head. I don't even want to think that.
"Doctor. Is her heart rate suppose to be like that?" My eyes were filled with tears and I grabed her hand.
"No. We will look into why its like that. She might be having a bad dream." I fakly smiled at the doctor, he wave, and walked out.
