"Daddy? What was this place called again?" Bobecca asked. "Sweet Landia" I reply. I can't wait until we land. We were moving to Sweet Landia, the sweetest land of all. We moved out of Humanville because there were too many wars. We wanted to move somewhere with peace. "Welcome to Sweet Landia" we hear over the loud speaker. "Are you guys ready?" my wife Bobina asks. "YAY!" Our kids, Bobelo and Bobecca, yell excitedly.
When we finally land, we hop off the plane and gather our luggage. We actually had a lot of stuff because we are pretty much rich. We go to the stand to exchange the currency and the candy person just looks at us as if we are below her.
"Excuse me, I would like to exchange my Moolas( the currency in Huamnville) for some Shumps please" I ask politely.
She just looks at me with a disgusted face and exchanges the money. I walk away without thanking her because she acted so rude.
We finally get everything ready and leave the airport to head to the famous "Sugar Village". The houses there were supposed to be the most beautiful houses you will ever see in your life. When we finally get there, we notice a giant unicorn guarding the entrance. As we were about to step in, the unicorn stopped us and said "You humans aren't allowed here, please head over to Milky Pot"
"Sorry, there must be a misunderstanding, we just want to buy a house." I say as I walk towards the entrance once more.
"No, not allowed, humans go to Milky Pot" he says as he stops me again. I sigh in defeat and we all go to Milky Pot. We have never heard of Milky Pot but we are hoping that it'll be just as beautiful as Sugar Village.
When we were walking to Milky Pot, we pass by a place called "Mushyville" It was terrible. All the houses were cracked and they look like they were picked up from the trash. The candy people living in there didn't shine as bright as the ones in Sugar Village. How strange.
After walking for about two more tiresome minutes, we finally arrived at Milky Pot. It was the most horrid thing I have ever laid my eyes on. The streets were littered with candy waste and candy wrappers, the houses were made of milk cartons and don't even get me started on the people there.
"Daddy, I thought you said that this was the best place to live." My son points out.
"Yeah, just stay here for a second." I reply. I walk around trying to find someone. I reach a tall milk carton building. There was a guy standing outside.
"Excuse me, what is all of this?" I ask while motioning to the town.
" Oh, I'm guessing that you're new here. Hi, I'm Bobby Jr. and you can call me Bobby and I'm the the owner. If you like, you can get one of our finest penthouses for only 30,000 Shumps" He says.
"Yes, I'm new and my name is Bob and I was wondering why I wasn't allowed to buy a house back at Sugar Village."
"Oh, I see. There is system in this land and it is that everyone must stay separated. It has been this way for thousands of years now. No one actually bothered to change the system" he explains to me. That was probably the stupidest thing I have ever heard in my life. I know that in Humanville, people of different colors used to be separated but then everything was fine. We chatted for a few more minutes until I decided to pay for the penthouse. I call my wife and children over to check out the new house.
We enter the house and we were surprised by what we saw. It didn't look too bad, at least it was big. There were three rooms, one for each kid and one for my wife and I. It can't be that bad living here. We begin to unpack when Bobecca asks me "Why can't we live in the big Jolly Rancher house?"
"Because the system in this place is different now, I'll explain it to you two later" I reply. We set up the beds and the kids go to sleep. I explain to my wife that everyone is separated and all humans can only live in Milky Pot. She just shook her head in disapproval and we both agreed that maybe moving here wasn't the best idea.
