UNDERCHOICE

... Suddenly, I am falling down; spinning around in the dark abyss that seems to go on forever. When I try to scream for help, it seems as though my voice is somehow getting lost and now has no chance of reaching the ears of another human being. I call again... but nobody came. Just as this sickening dizziness starts to pull me under, the sight of the ground beneath me comes just in to view. I close my eyes and prepare for the impact of my body against the cold, hard cave floor, but what i expected never seemed to come. After a short eternity, I shyly lift my eyelids to confirm once more that I was indeed falling down the infamous Mt Ebott, but it seemed it was quite the opposite of what I was expecting. As my eyes slowly adjusted to the low lighting, I can already start to recognize some of my surroundings. In fact, this wasn't too hard at first! Below me was a bed of beautiful golden yellow flowers that perfectly reflected the subtle stream of light coming from where i had just fallen. ' The flowers must have broken my fall.' I think to myself. But immediately after that thought, I couldn't help but wonder how a mere bed of flowers  could impact such a fall as well as it did. This train of thought, however, didn't last very long because something caught my eye.

On the surface, I am well known for not having a very long attention span. That is, among all of the other various things I am known for. For example, being an orphan, an outcast and an utter reject of society. Anyway, back to the topic at hand. A small distance away, I could see a pathway leading directly to a door, decorated with symmetrical purple pillars. What attracted me to them was not the ancient-Rome-type style of the decorative pillars, but the small, white bullet-shaped things that often made their way into this room. They shone brightly while they appeared, but soon fadad away like a sparkler. They were so... pretty.
