Sutton took a sip out of her red solo cup as she, Allison, Scott, and Stiles walked down the sidewalk toward the blaring music coming from a house at the end of the road. "So whose party are we going to, anyway?" Sutton asked.

"Our friend Isaac's, the one I was telling you about. He's a sophomore this year. He lives with a few of his fraternity brothers and apparently they always throw the biggest party of the year on the first night everyone is on campus. He talked about it all summer long and how drunk everyone gets," Allison rolled her eyes at the thought of her friend rambling on about how popular he was in college.

"Hmm," Sutton hummed as they reached the steps to the house. Multiple people were stumbling in and out of the crowded house, which left the door wide open, allowing the multi colored strobe lights and music to pour out, as well as the drunken teenagers. "This should be interesting," she spoke again, this time as an interested smile crossed her face. The foursome walked through the door and into the party, immediately bumping shoulders with strangers because of how crowded the room was. Sutton immediately spotted the kitchen over the crowd and looked over to her friends. "I'm going to get another drink!" She shouted, moving away from her three friends and sifting through the sweaty boys and girls dancing. Allison worriedly looked over at Scott after Sutton walked away, to which he could only shrug.

"She's fine, Allison. Let her try and make some friends on her own?" he asked, weakly smiling to his girlfriend.

"She seems tough, I'm sure she can handle herself," Stiles joined in and tugged his lips into a straight line as he looked to comfort Allison.

"I just want to make sure she likes me and has fun with our friends," Allison grimaced. "I don't want Isaac or any of the others to make fools of themselves."

"She'll be fine! Let's just have fun, yeah?" Scott turned her around toward the party and wrapped his arms around her as she smiled and they started to walk through the crowd.

Sutton finally made her way through the crowd after squeezing between multiple people and into the kitchen when she spotted a keg. Perfect, she thought, and started to make her way towards the barrel. Before she could reach it, an unfamiliar body was in her way. "You want a beer?" The boy snickered at her and grabbed a cup from above the refrigerator.

"Yeah but I can do it myself," Sutton sarcastically smiled as she yanked the solo cup from the brunette boy's hand and began to fill it up to the brim.

"Well okay," the boy scoffed. He took a step back, examining the blonde. "So what's your name?" He asked as he leaned against the counter and crossed his arms, a smirk crossing his face.

"Don't try to act like you actually want to know my name," Sutton rolled her eyes as she began to drink out of her freshly filled cup. "Let me guess, you're Isaac?"

The brunette boy continued smirking at Sutton and took a step toward her. "No, that over there is Isaac," the boy pointed through the crowd to a tall, curly headed boy, sitting in a chair watching as some other boys played beer pong, and had three girls practically sitting in his lap. "How do you know him?"

"I don't," Sutton scoffed, turning to move away from the boy whose name she still didn't know. But before she could make it very far, he moved in front of her, blocking her from leaving the kitchen.

"You never told me your name," the boy grinned at Sutton in almost a sinister way. She looked at him more intently this time, noticing how his brunette hair was perfectly spiked in the front, how his green eyes moved around her face with extreme interest, and she watched as he did the same to her. He was hot, there was no denying that.

"I'm aware of that," she coldly responded before taking another drink.

"So, are you going to keep me guessing?" He moved closer to her and also took a chug of his drink. Sutton held her lips to the brim of her cup as she looked up at the boy. She was used to boys hitting on her, but with this boy it was different. She both wanted to flirt back, and to also walk away from him. While something inside of her was telling her to do the latter, she decided it wouldn't hurt to stick around for a little longer.
