My eyes left the couple in the mirror and returned to Harry, to see him staring at me with a content smile, although his green orbs were still lust filled. “Looks like I really am yours” I said, pointing to the purple marks that were sprinkled over my neck and shoulder. My mother would be horrified if she saw them, she would say I was a tart and only some one the devil could care for, which was ironic as she was far from a saint. Harry chuckled, fully aware that I was thinking about my parent’s reaction.

He moved my body so that I was no longer facing the mirror, but so that I was facing him. I stared at his eyes as they bore into mine, causing my breath to hitch. His eyes never left mine as he began to whisper. “I-I” Harry stopped and began to bite his lip, deciding what to say. He looked at the floor, trying to free his gaze from mine, but failed as  I lifted his chin up, repeating his earlier action. “Harry, what is it?” I urged him to continue, hoping my soft tone would reassure him. This was the real Harry, insecure, shy and beautiful. Although I had not known him long, I knew that this was the real him. He opened his mouth slowly, ensuring that he took a deep breath before continuing. “I need you Fleur. I need you to be mine, you’ve no idea how long I’ve waited for you!” My heart stopped, allowing time to stand still. I let his tender heartfelt words wash around my brain, as I moved my body closer to him I wrapped my arms around his long torso, pulling him close enough to me so that there was not even the smallest of gaps between us. I nuzzled my head on his chest, close to his heart, letting the fast beats relax my nervous body.  He moved his chin to rest on top of my head as he gently rubbed his finger across my back in a swirling motion. “I need you too Harry, but we don’t know each other.” I whispered, saddened by my own truth. Harry and I were not long ago still stranger, and yet we were already confessing our need for each other! I needed things to slow down.

I was about to finish my lecture, when I was pulled on to the double bed. My heart began to hammer in my chest, trying to tunnel its way out. I sat up next to Harry, waiting for him to explain himself, a look of pure confusion upon my face. “I know that we have only just met, but I’ve waited so long for you. Tell me about yourself, just please say you wont leave.” He rushed as he attempted to get all of his words to leave his mouth and yet still be understood. Why did he keep saying that he’s ‘waited so long for me’, I’ve only just met him. Until not long ago, I wasn’t even aware of his existence, nor was he of mine. I shook my head gently as I tried to get the thoughts to leave my mind. I focused back on Harry. “So what do you say Fleur? Please stay…” My heart broke at his words, not with sadness and deceit, but with pure delight and a feeling I couldn’t quite give a name to. I nodded my head as I spoke “Yes Harry, I’ll stay"
