After I saw him drive off, I walked a little further to reach my mother's grave. I stood in front of her grave. "You were the only one who understood," I cried. No one understands me. No one knows my pain. No one knows the secret I painfully bear.

Autumn's dream

"Mom, I'm scared," I said

"It's ok; everything will be all right. They'll leave soon," she whispered

"Grab everything and see if anyone is here," the first voice said.

"Yes, sir," the other voices said. They searched all around the house, breaking everything they touched. I couldn't help but cry.

"Shh, it'll be over soon," my mom said

"That's right; it will be." I looked up to see a vast, hulk-like man hovering above us. He grabbed both of us by our hair and brought us to his boss.

"Hey, boss, look what I found," he said, throwing us

"My, what do we have here?" the boss said

Terrified, I woke up. I hadn't had that dream in a while. I looked at my surroundings to make sure that I was still at the tree, and I was. I really should watch where I sleep. As usual, I headed to my aunt's house. Although I'm sure my father had told her what happened, I rang her doorbell, and she immediately opened the door and slapped me.

"WHAT HAPPENED TO TRYING?" she yelled

"Nice to see you too. I'm fine, thanks," I said, letting myself in

"I give up," she said, throwing her hands up in the air

"It came back," I said, not looking at her

"What are you talking about," she asked confused

"The dream it came back," I said with tears in my eyes

"It's been four years, though," she said

"I know," I said

"Are you finally going to tell the police the whole thing?" she asked

"I don't know," I said. "They might still be out there watching me, seeing if I'll keep my promise," I said

"But don't you think your mom deserves some peace?" she said

"HOW WILL SHE HAVE PEACE IF HER DAUGHTER IS DEAD?" I said, "I'm the only one who knows what they look like, and if I let the cat out of the bag, they'll kill me the same way they killed her." I said, "DAMN," I yelled, punching the counter. I felt arms coming from around my back, and her warm hug gave me the comfort I needed. I was up the following day with puffy eyes.

"Good morning, Autumn."

"Mornin' Auntie." My aunt gave me breakfast and then flicked me on the forehead.

"Ouch. What was that for?"

"Your father called me this morning in a panic, trying to figure out where you were."

"Oops"

She sighed. "Autumn baby. I understand you're mad at your father, but he's your only parent. Now, what would've happened if he had a heart attack?"

"It would serve him right."

"Now you know you don't mean that."

"I don't...fine, I'll be more thoughtful towards him."

She kissed me on the forehead. "That's my girl. Once you're done, I'm taking you straight home." As she said, I was taken home after finishing my food. I reluctantly walked into the house and was immediately stopped by my father.
