Chapter 11

*Crimson*

Oh my god. What have I just done? I only wanted to see if he liked me. I didn't mean for it to come to a full blown makeout session. Which by the looks of things seemed where it was going. 

"Ryan, wait." I said.

"What's wrong? Am I a bad kisser or something?"

I chuckled a bit. "Oh no Ryan it isn't. It's just...." i took a deep breath.... "... Ryan, Riley is your best friend and my girlfriend how could we start dating behind her back when she left only to pursue her dreams and doimg what makes her happy?"

He sat there for a minute thinking. Then he opened his mouth to speak, but nothing came out. He tried again and this time he said, "I know that may seem like the wrong thing to do, but I've known Riley for years she obviously won't be thrilled about it but in time she will accept it. All she wants is for those around her to be happy, no matter the consequences or pain she may inflict upon herself. "

I sat there slowly coming to terms with what Ryan said. Yes Riley wouldn't be happy, who would? Coming home to your boyfriend dating your best friend, ouch. But I can't help myself. After losing my mom I have had a really hard time connecting to people and now that I have a chance to connect with Ryan I am not going to pass it up. I know it will hurt Riley but I will find a way one day to repay her.without Riley I never would have had the chance to give a relationship with Ryan a shot.

I was so deep in thought I barley registered Ryan talking to me.

"What?" I asked.

Ryan chuckled, "I said, would you like to give us a shot?"

"I- I'd like that very much."

He smiled. "Then it's settled." And leaned in for our first kiss, as a couple. ♡
