Our Little Secret

Chapter 14:

Hey guys so im in study hall again haha...so it will be a shorter chapter... so i figured i would write more chapters in the book but the will be shorter OR OR OR i can do longer chapters on the weekends only and do less chapters???? what should i do??

Chapter 14:

Ezme's pov:

Dustin saw the change in my expression, he tensed up a alittle. " whats wrong buttercup?" I looked at him and he knew instantly. I broke into tears and he wipped them away. "can you drive me there?" i grabbed my hand a pulled me along. "Hey dustin, where yall goin?" "come on ill tell ya later" We all made our way to the car and were at the station in less than 20 minutes.

I walked in holding tightly onto Dustin's hand. I wasn't sure what was going to happen but i had a bad feeling. "Ezme can you follow me please." the officer said. "I'll be waiting right here for you." Dustin looked into my eyes and i could see him giving me a mental kiss. Shaun, Maggie, and Dustin all sat in the waiting room and i was lead back to a whiteish colored room with a big table and some chairs. I saw the detective that was at the house when my mom was killed.

I sat across the table and he had a look on his face and i just knew. The tears began to build up in my eyes. He started to speak " We found some evidence and it led us to the guy that rapped and killed your mom. He works for your dad. We brought him in and after about 10 hours in and out of interrigation he finally broke and told the whole story." I broke and tears streamed down my face. He contuined " He said about 3 months ago your dad talked to him and they began to plan. Your father wanted your mom out of the picture so he could be with a different woman. He had he killed, but didn't realize that you would be home to find it. He was going to be there to 'find' her before you did." He paused for a moment "im really sorry"

I walked out of the room after sitting there for 15 or so minutes. I pulled myself together as much as i could and walked into the waiting room and gave Dustin the look. He knew not to ask that i would tell him when i was ready. Shaun and Maggie were walking in front of us, i laid my head softly on Dustin's shoulder and i felt the tears come back. I fought then back as much as i could. We got back to our house and i went up to my room. Shaun and Maggie were in the spare room, and we all know what they are doing. Dustin walked in and sat down next to me. My face was in the pillow and he softly stroked my head. " Its gonna be ok, i promise nothing will hurt you."

After a while i sat up adn explained the whole story. He didn't know how my mom died, so i started from the beginning. " A few days before i moved in here i walked into the basement bedroom and my mom was dead on the bed. I heard her being rapped and when the guy heard me he shot he and left through the window. So today when i got the call, i figured they had found the guy. And he said they did, my dad had a guy he worked with kill her so he could be with your mom..." i trailed off knowing the tears would break at any moment.

He pulled me into a tight hug and we sat there for a while and i just cried.He walked out of the room and came back with some cookies we made earlier and some chocolate. He knew it was comforting to me. We sat there and talked for a while about the most random things. He was trying to keep my mind off of it. "Shaun and Maggie are are gonna stay here tonight." " as long as i don't hear her scream" i said jokingly. I was trying to put on my mask and hide the pain that i felt. It was starting to get late so me and Dustin got iont a quick shower together. He washed my hair for me and i did the same for him. We put on our pj's and laid down in his bed. I slowly drifted into a heavy sleep. Dustin's hands were caressing my back when i woke up screaming. "I had a nightmare about my mom again" i said. "it'll be ok, im right here, nothing can hurt you."He sat there and rubbed my back trying as hard as he could to stay up until i fell asleep again.

hey guys...so it is inda short but some important stuff happened :) i will write soon...probally over the weekend
