Little songbird, in a cage,
what are you doing here?
Little songbird fly away,
find a new beginning in the air!
Lovely songbird, locked away,
do you know your heart is of gold?
Lovely songbird, are you aware,
you're more unique than any treasure.
Pretty songbird, led astray,
what did you truly believe?
Pretty songbird, so betrayed,
singing only to make people happy.
Helpless songbird, life's so grey,
are you now fading away?
Helpless songbird, there she lay,
Dreamt of a tomorrow that never came.
Hopeful songbird, of night and day,
there's a line between wrong and right.
Hopeful songbird, will leave this place,
fly towards the beautiful songs of light.
Little songbird, broke the cage,
never will she return to here.
Little songbird, flew away,
