Warmth (ziam one shot)

Zayn stood outside the coffee shop smoking a cigar, the day had been colder than usual, and his mood seem to fit along with it.

He had found out Perrie his girlfriend of two years had been cheating on him for the last three months, he was heart broken and nothing seem to fix it. 

"Zayn ?"  Liam's familiar voice broke his trance  "Zayn, you ok ?" Zayn looked up at a worried Liam "Yeah Liam..just thinking.." he trailed off thinking about Perrie again. "Well we should get going before the snow picks up" Liam motioned towards his flat.

The space was quite, and a sense of safety came over Zayn, he loved Liam's flat it smelt like him. Zayn loved Liam, always had a little crush on him, but he always pushed the thoughts aside knowing Liam would never feel the same way.

"Do you want something to eat man ?" Liam said from the kitchen. Zayn sat in front of the fireplace looking at how the flames grew and fell kind of like the ocean. "do you have pizza ?" Zayn asked standing up and walking into the kitchen. Liam had changed into loosely fit sweats and a white tank top showing off his toned arms, Zayn was hypnotized zayn look away, stop staring, you're going to freak him out Zayn mentally shook his head, Liam did something to him, he didn't know what it was but it scared him. "yeah i think Andy left a peice or two last night let me check" Liam turned toward the fridge.

"Zayn ?" Liam's voice came in a whisper "Yeah Li ?"  Zayn looked up at Liam, Hazel eyes met brown, and there it was the familiar pull he felt each time he looked at Liam. "she never was good for you, you know, you deserve so much better, Perrie made a huge mistake letting you go you're an amazing guy.." Zayn stopped listening to Liam he had forgotten all about perrie since he was with Liam, all Zayn could think about now was Liam, his lips they were perfect so puffy  and the color of cherries. snap out of it zayn, stop thinking about him!  "Zayn, Zayn!"   Liam wore a face of concern "You know i'm here to make you feel better, you're my best friend" Liam reached over and hugged him. "Yeah i know man...I love you Liam.." Liam pulled away too soon, Zayn was left with a feeling of wanting and need. if  you only knew how much i loved you  Zayn thought.

"It's been a long day, sleep sounds perfect right now ahaha" Liam said getting up from the sofa "Yeah i should head home" Zayn started gathering his things "no need for that bro, you can stay here come on!
 Liam walked towards his bedroom it wasn't like Zayn hadn't slept over at Liam's before, he had done it many times before, but it felt different this time.  Zayn noticed things he hadn't about liam before, how graceful he was, how beautiful " You're stunning.." " what was that ?" Liam asked "oh uh..umm nothing sorry mate"  Liam reached for some sweats in his closet "here mate, put these on, i'm gonna go to sleep i'm drained!"  

Zayn walked into Liam's room, it was silent aside from Liam's light breathing. Zayn walked over to the bed slowly making sure not to wake Liam, the bed was warm, the sheets smelt of Liam, he breathed in the scent and smiled "hahaha Zayn what are you doing?" Zayn was startled at the sound of Liam's voice,  he looked over at Liam  "you're not asleep.." zayn said "nah i was waiting for you" Liam smiled 

Zayn's heart was beating too fast, his hands started to sweat "haha thanks man" Liam was close, they were almost chest to chest, if Zayn moved closer their lips would almost touch.  Before he knew it Liam was leaning in closer to him, their lips touched, Zayn was breathless what was happening, was he dreaming ? "I love you Zayn" Liam said against his lips, he coudln't respond so he just did what he had been wanthing so do all of that night, he kissed Liam back, leaving all of himself in that one kiss. Liam's lips felt like home, Liam was home. Zayn kissed him harder, pressing his body against Liam's,  Zayn smiled and pulled away " I love you too Liam"   The boys stayed there in silence saying nothing, that kiss had said so much more that words could ever express. 

Zayn was happy again, he had loved Perrie, but he knew that he always loved Liam, since they met on the X Factor, and now this moment laying in bed with Liam felt perfect, he had finally found his home, the warmth he felt in his heart at this moment was all beacause of Liam.

Zayn looked over at the sleeping Liam and smiled, there was no one better for Zayn than Liam, and with  that in mind Zayn drifted off into a humble sleep knowing that tomorrow he would wake up to this perfect boy.
