The Tree is the key to being free
it is home to the bird, and the bee.
Don't you love the breeze of the trees?
They really are nature's comforting knees.
The trees might freeze,
but will never cease,
For trees are today,
and forever.
The world's green beard,
shall not be feared.
The giant trees will never go,
not even through rain and snow,
no sign of weakness will they show.
Trees are today,
and forever.
The skin of the tree is rough you see,
yet their hearts are soft and free.
The tree and I will fly away,
just not today.
I can wait another day, for trees are today,
and forever.
In the future, they will not pay,
for they are real,
and here to stay.
When autumn comes, the leaves will fall.
Yet the trees have not perished, not at all.
In the spring,
they will once again sing.
For trees are today, and forever.
The spirits of the people who come to play,
will never, not ever decay,
while they look back on their days,
always knowing- TREES ARE TODAY, AND FOREVER!!!
