Derek's eyes fluttered open.
He heard the vibrations of music below him. He didn't have neighbours.
He closed his eyes to focus and found another smell he knew well.
Stiles.
Derek slowly got out of his creaky bed and walked towards what he heard. Stiles was singing, Derek followed his voice.
"Somebody once told me the world was gonna roll me, I ain't the sharpest tool in shed."
Derek looked throughout the upstairs rooms to find nobody.
"She was lookin' kinda dumb with her finger and her thumb in the shape of an 'L' on her forehead."
Derek made it to the second floor and began to search.
"Well, the years start coming and they don't stop coming, fed to the rules and I hit the ground running. It didn't make sense not to live for fun, your brain gets smarter but your head gets dumb."
Derek realized there was only one place he hadn't looked and headed for his front door.
"So much to do, so much to see, so what's wrong with taking the backstreets? You never know if you don't go, you never shine if you don't glow!"
A wave of Stiles' voice hit Derek as he pushed open his front door to see Stiles sitting on his porch singing.
"Hey now, you're an all star, get your game on, go play. Hey now, you're a rockstar, get your show on, get paid. All that glitters is gold, only shooting stars break the mold!"
"What the hell are you doing, Stiles?" Derek spat.
"I'm not doing anyone mr.I Can't Fuck Stiles Until He's 18!" Stiles pouted and looked up at the werewolf.
"But, why are you on my porch?"
"Good question." Stiles replied. "I wanted to ask you something."
"Is there a reason you didn't come in and ask?" Derek raised a brow. "I mean- I could've come inside to ask but I was in a singing mood and luring you out is more fun. Anyways, are you busy currently?" Stiles inquired.
"No, I don't think so." Derek responded slowly." Stiles hopped to his feet and hastily grabbed Derek's hand. "Okay! Get in the Jeep!"
