Zero prepared himself and watched as the pureblood went to stab the baby.
The baby stirred a little before opening it's little lavender eyes and yawning cutely making a small O shape with its mouth before it returned back to normal.
Zero looked at Kaname to see the purebloods bottom lip quivering as tears came out of his eyes.
Zero watched in amazment as the purebloods tears rolled down his cheeks and dripped onto the ground silently.
Kaname then dropped the knife to the side of him and picked up the baby and held it close to him.
"I-I have died everyday waiting for you, darling dont be afraid I have loved you for a thousand years, I'll love you for a thousand more..." Kaname sang to the baby but zero couldn't help but feel like there was a meaning behind it.
"Why her Zero? Why fall in love with Yuki. What's wrong with me?" Kaname asked and the baby in his hands just looked puzzled.
"How am i suppose to fall in love with you Kaname. Give me something to love ablut you." Zero said and Kaname stood up.
Zero followed kaname back to the hospital where Kaname returned the baby.
Kaname tapped his forehead and vanished and Zero did the same. Zero was Thankful he was alive.
