((Hi! Back from holidays c: The only bad news is that I'm starting with classes again xc Oh well, tortures of life. Anyway, hope you like the chapter and check out the first chapter of the new story I'm writing, "Fangirl"))

The weekend went fast as usual and on Monday I was ready to meet again with my new older friends. I've spent the days talking and knowing Abby. She was such a nice person. The enthusiasm she had in her eyes when she talked about the human race was still a mystery to me but I answered her questions and thanked her nice comments.

"Don't worry about Mildeons. I can hide pretty well so that your friends and their characters won't find me, but I'll be always near you." She said as we walked towards the bus stop. I wasn't looking her face to face because that would make people believe I was crazy, talking to the air. "We can use a telepathic field so we can talk easily."

"You know how to do that?" I mumbled.

"Yes! I've been practicing since you were 12 many cool tricks! But only telepathy was the one that I could actually do...correctly."

"Oh...Fine then." I had no idea that characters were able to do that kind of things.

"Ok." she said smiling. She kept quiet for some minutes, advancing with me. Her eyes were close. When she opened them, I could heard her talk, but her mouth was still. "Be careful in what you think Sarah, because I have now access to hear that too."

"And same applies to you." I...thought.

"Yup! But our kind learn to control thoughts since born, in case someone is reading your mind without you noticing."

Impressive. There were so many things Nate, Marissa and David didn't told me that day. I guess that there wasn't enough time.

"Don't worry, they'll may tell you that your next class." She said.

I smiled. "When you said every thought, you actually meant every one."

She shrugged, smiling cheerfully. "Mhmm"

We walked in silence until we reached school. If you think that having your mind in black is easy then you're wrong. I had to look at all the things around me so I didn't thought about different things. The sky, the kids going to school, cars. How did characters even do it? I didn't know if I was going to endure the whole day thinking blank.

"Hey Sarah!" I heard behind me. Yes, people. In that way I would only think in my conversation. Good distraction. I turned to see Sally, Chris and Evelyn with their respective characters. Marissa, Nate and David were wearing the same clothes they had the last time I saw them...which was strange. Sally was wearing spring colours while Evelyn was wearing mixtures of dark blue and green. Chris was wearing a brown jacket and walked between Sally and Evelyn.

"Hi!" I replied, smiling.

"Hello." Said Abby in my mind.

"How was your weekend?" said Marissa as soon as they get closer to me. "News about your character?"

"No." I lied, trying to look disappointed. Evelyn stared at me for a second. She seemed...worried?

"Everything's ok?" She said.

Wow. That was actually unexpected from her. Mainly because well...I don't expect her to actually care?

"Yeah." I said, trying to smile.

"Are you ok?" Said Nate to Evelyn, I guess he was wondering the same thing I did.

"Yes." She replied, pushing him slightly. "I am, and that is not of your business."
