Broken Love

RECAP
Just before I clicked play I heard a loud knock at my door, I decided to ignore it thinking it was just someone at the wrong door like usual. I clicked play as started to spoon the ice cream into my mouth filling my face before hearing another loud knock at my door. I groaned loudly getting up and walking towards to door opening it, look up from my ice cream I see a face I never thought I'd see again.
"Niall..." I chocked feeling tears in my eyes
"Jade.."

Jade's P.O.V
I could feel the tears coming to my eyes and I'm sure he could see them to because he slowly took A few steps towards me as I was still in my daze. Why is he here? Why now? Does he really think he can just come back and expect us to be okay?
I quickly snapped out of my daze and slammed my door in his face before he reached me. I slammed my back against the back of the door, sliding down slowly until I'm settled on the ground. I feel the tears flowing down my face as I sob into my arms pulling my knees up to my chest and hug them. Not feeling anything but pain at the moment.
Niall's P.O.V
I here her sobbing from the other side of the door as I sit with my back against it knees pulled under me just listening to the love of my life cry because of me.
I know I'm selfish. I hurt her 2 years ago by saying those lies that management forced me to say. I regret every single word I've said to her, ignoring all her calls and texts for the past 2- almost three years hurt me so much but I had to do it for the fans. Management would've kicked me out of the band and I really didn't want that. But the cost of being in the band with the boys was leaving her and I'm not so sure I can do that any longer.
"Baby please I'm sorry I am so sorry I didn't want to hurt you if you let me in I can explain okay? Please jade just talk to me" I begged my eyes watering but I pushed it back wanting to be strong for her.
"Ni-Niall why are you here" she stuttered out, voice wavy and cracking slightly at my name.
" love, I will tell you everything if you just let me in" I begged again
She didn't say anything for a few moments until I heard the door click and start to open. I stood up quickly and turned to see her eyes red and puffy but she still looked beautiful as ever. She moved to the side without a word and let me walk inside.
I sat down on the couch as she just stood near me. I looked at her in confusion and patted the spot next to me and watched he slowly walk over and sit down next to me hesitantly.
I noticed how she left a big space between us and moved closer to her making sure that I won't make her uncomfortable.
"Jade" I said softy to get her attention, she looked slowly with a sad look on her face that broke my heart.
"I only left you because management forced me" I started off, " management forced me to say all of what I said to you before I left so you would let me go. it hurt me so much to let your go and ignore you and all your calls and texts. I couldn't do it any longer I couldn't be without you I missed your laugh and your hugs and your eyes and smile. I missed everything about you jade,please just give me one chance to make it right. Just one and I won't let you go" I said all in one breath, heart beat increasing with the anxiety of the answer that is about to come out of her pretty mouth.
"One" she said "one chance Horan, that's all I'm giving you and if you ruin it I'm not letting you back in my life again" she said voice steady now.
" thank you so so so much jade! I won't make the same mistake I promise!" I said happily and at that moment all I could think about was kissing her. Kissing her soft,pink lips-no! I souls to be thinking about that I have a girlfriend and we are only best friend's, Jade couldn't like me like that I'm not good enough for someone as perfect as her. She deserves someone that hasten hurt her. But I still can't stop myself from loving her. But as everyone says it's inevitable, everything that's good comes to an end..
