Prologue:
Reading about things like love and romance has always weirded me out. It may be because I never had a crush, or any romantic moment in my life.
My brother is a completely different story though.
He brings home a new girl at least once a week since he started his junior year. How he hasn't run out of girls baffles me. I will never know how, and truly, I don't want too.
I do know one think though. I don't believe in love. Love will just twist your heart in so many directions and then it will unfold. When that happens everything that was hidden in the cracks comes out. And it leaved your heart to shatter into a million pieces.
Chapter One: The Truth Comes out
I was sitting at my computer on a Friday night. My mom had gone to an auction, then to dinner with dad, and my brother was at one of those parties he always goes to.
I typed out my essay due next week and clicked save. I really did not feel like doing it next week so I finished it today, plus I had nothing better to do.
I heard the lock of the front door click. I snapped my head and looked at the front door. I reached behind the computer monitor and felt the small gun that I stashed there.
As the door handle turned I gripped the gun's handle and placed my finger lightly on the trigger.
The door burst open revealing my brother with a girl on his arm. I sighed and released the the gun.
"You scared me Justin." I told him. He looked at me as he led the girl in the front door.
"Close the door." He said.
"You close it." I told him.
"I have more important things to do." He huffed and whispered something in the girl's ear. She giggled. I noticed that it was my best friend.
"He-hey Claire." I stuttered. I had even told her that my brother was a player! And she still went with him!
"Hey Hillary!" She slurred. And that explained it all. she was completely and totally drunk.
"Justin let her go." I growled at him. I was not going to watch as he took advantage of my best friend!
"No, we are going to have some fun. Are we not Claire?" He put his arm around her waist and pulled her against him.
"Claire get away from him." I warned her. Although I already knew it was a lost hope, my brother never lost a victim.
"No!" She grabbed onto Justin's chest. The sight made me sick and Justin smirked. "I want to have some FUN with Justin!"
"No you don't!" I protested.
"You don't get to decide for her." Justin waved his finger at me.
"Yeah!" Claire said, loudly and waver her finger at me too. Then giggled. "We think alike!" She squealed and playfully smacked Justin's chest.
"Yes we do." He cooed. She started to claw at him like a cat. In a supposedly sexy way. I wanted to vomit.
"Don't do this to her, please Justin!"
"What do you want to do?" Justin asked Claire.
"Lets have some fun!" She slurred.
"Just get a room please! If you must!" I yelled and turned back to the computer. Justin and her hurried up stairs.
Before he closed his door Justin yelled down to me.
"Close the front door!" Then his door slammed close. I sighed and flicked his door off which I could see from the base of the stairs.
