What was today? Monday? Wednesday? Thursday? Levi didn't care the least. He lay in bed wondering how long it's been since Eren left.
Mikasa would visit every now and then, and the two would grieve together. But as time went on, Mikasa's visits became less and less. It's like he was the only one to remember.... And even the sound of Eren's voice was fading...fading until Levi couldn't remember the sweet sound.
It broke him. Levi didn't want to forget, yet here he was, slowly letting every part Eren was to him disappear.
"Levi?" The blonde coconut slowly opened the door, letting himself in. Armin was the same as Levi. He wasn't going to let himself forget Eren. Armin was the only one to visit Levi everyday.
"Today's cleaning day... The place has become a mess since you haven't been here."
How could the boy even function? Levi asked himself.
"I don't want too.."
Armin seemed shocked by the corporal's response. Yet, he just nodded slowly and backed out of the room, leaving Levi alone once again in darkness.
Levi?
A voice echoed in Levi's mind, something familiar. An image appeared in front of him.
Eren Yeager.
"Eren!?" Levi sprung up to hug the young boy, crying into the spirit's chest. Eren rubbed circles into Levi's back in a calming manner. Yeah, Levi was supposed to be humanity's strongest and all, but he was still human. So he could show emotion too.right?
"Eren..."
"Don't. Levi."
Levi looked up into Eren's eyes. The younger boy was looking down at him, smiling sadly.
"I'll never forget you Levi... Please be happy... for me."
Levi nodded and hugged Eren for the last time, before his figure shimmered and disappeared with the moonlight.
