Two Lunas?

Chapter 3

How long has it even been since the last update? Sorry to keep you waiting...

So, in news, my friend and I decided to write a book together. Not on wattpad though. We're going to send it in to a few publishers, but after we get it copyrighted, I might put a sneak peak chapter here.

I don't think there's anything left to say, so enjoy the update!

The drive to Tyson's pack house seems long with Katherine in the car. Whenever we're both together, the easygoing, talkative Tyson i knew from last night seems stressed, and turns quiet. Kind of like he doesn't want to start any drama.

Finally, we arrive at the huge, and I mean huge mansion. This house could hold five times the size of our pack! Then again, Moon Shadow is the largest pack in the world.

I'm still staring in awe at the house when I realize that Tyson and Katherine have walked ahead of me. I run to catch up to them and plant myself directly between the pair. As we reach the door, two pack members open it for us as they greet Tyson. We walk into what seems like a dream. To the left is the biggest living room I've ever seen, but I don't pay much attention to that. What I do notice, however, is the giant kitchen that is to my right. It has beautiful marble counters, two ovens, and a stove with six burners! I squeal internally as I think of all I could bake in that room.

Tyson clears his throat and begins to speak. "You guys can go and get settled now. I've had two guest bedrooms cleaned and ready, and in a couple hours we can all go and speak with the Elders."

We both nod to him, and he walks off to do some work.

I look towards the front door as it opens, and my brother walks in. He comes over to me and gives me a hug.

"Hey sis. I was told to bring you guys to your rooms. I have some stuff to do today, so we need to go now."

"That's fine, just promise we can spend some time together soon."

"I promise. How about tomorrow? I'm free all day then."

"Perfect! I can't wait!"

"Me either, sis. Now c'mon, I'll show you guys to your rooms."

Ben leads us up one of the staircases, and down a hallway. He points Katherine to her door, and brings me down another hallway. We stop at my room the end of the rows of doors. Ben opens it for me, and brings my bags in.

"It's about eleven o'clock now, so come downstairs at one. Tyson should be ready to go by then"

With that, Ben left me to go do his gamma duties. I turned and looked around at my new room.

It's pretty, with soft white carpet, a teal bedspread, and a nice bathroom. Sheer silver curtains covered a door that led to a small balcony . There's a desk in the corner, and a T.V. on the wall.

I fold and put away my clothes to pass the time, and when that was all done, I decide to take a nap until it was time to go. I set the alarm clock on the side table for 12:55. Then I crawl into the soft covers, and fall asleep.

When the alarm goes off this time, I don't throw it across the room. I'm way too nervous about what Tyson's pack Elders are going to say. What if i was never meant to be his mate in the first place?

I climb out of bed and make myself look presentable before exiting my room and finding my way downstairs back to the living room. Tyson greets me with a hug once I'm there. He looks just about as nervous as I am.

The building where the Elders live isn't very far from the pack house, so we walk. The journey is silent, set aside the sounds of nature. While I could tell exactly how Tyson was feeling about this, Katherine was harder to read. I must admit, the girl had an excellent poker face.

We arrived at a nice building that reminded me of the White House in D.C. The doors opened automatically, and we were escorted by important looking men into a room. The room was shaped like a half-circle, with Twelve Elders seated around the outside edges. They all looked so serious, like they hadn't even smiled once a day in their lives. It was terrifying.

"To what do we owe this pleasure, Alpha Grey?" The one that spoke was the gray-haired woman in the center of the twelve. She looks like she was the one in charge around here.

"Elder Cynthia, we have a problem. These girls, they're my mates."

"Both of them?"

"Yes, both of them."

Elder Cynthia sighs. "That is a problem. This has never happened before. The moon goddess doesn't work like that. Only female wolves ever get two mates. Come, fellow Elders. We shall discuss this."

The Elders stand and file out a door that I haven't noticed until now. I hear muffled murmurs for a few minutes before the door opens again.

As the men and women take a seat, Cynthia begins to speak.

"We have spoken with the moon goddess, and have reached a decision. This situation was never supposed to happen. Therefore, Alpha Tyson, you must choose between one of your mates. You must reject the other. Be warned, whichever of the two that you reject will have to live out their days without a mate. You have exactly three weeks to decide. Good luck."

I'm speechless. I can't stand the thought of Tyson not choosing me. And even if I don't like Katherine, if he did choose me, i wouldn't want her to live without a mate!

Elder Cynthia gives the three of us a sympathetic look as we are escorted back out of the building. When we get back to the pack house, I lock myself in my room, and spend the rest of the day alone. I'm more anxious to see my brother now than ever.
