My Biggest Fear

                      Fear is not only a feeling caused by expectation of danger. It is also because of some things, places and events in our life. We have different kinds of fears such as; fear in animals, fear in heights, fear of losing someone you love, fear to reveal your true feelings, fear to tell the truth, fear of failure and more. In all of these fears, we have different reasons and it is maybe because of our past experiences or because something is very important to us or else we really love the person. Having fear in something doesn't mean that you are weak because it is normal. Even how strong a person is, for sure that there is something that he\she afraid of and I am one of them because my biggest fear is "failure" and it is because of some reasons.

                      I grew up in a family that full of dreams because we only have a simple life in province. I have 2 brothers and 1 sister and I can say that I am very lucky when it comes to a family because they let me feel all the love, care and attention that I need from them since I was a child. It is not because I am the youngest but because our parents teach us how to give respect and importance to each other. I've witness all the sacrifices that our parents did to support us for all the things that we need. That time, I and my siblings told to ourselves that someday we will give our parents a better life because they really deserve it.

                      After we graduate in high school, our parents don't have enough money to support us to finish our study in college. They only allow my older brother to enroll in college. We started our dreams by helping each other. While my brother is studying, I and my siblings are working to be able to help our parents in their financial matters.

                       After four years, my brother finished his course in Marine. He find a job and good to say, it takes a short time for him to have a good job. He started working as Seaman until now and also my other siblings have a stable life now. My brother is the reason why I am here now at NPC to finish my study and at the same time, he is helping our parents in having a better life like what we are dreaming before. Like my brother, I also have a dream for our parents because it is my way of giving thanks to them for all the things they done for us, that's the reason why I am afraid to fail.

                      For now, I challenge myself because I want to be like my brother. And I promise to myself that I will do my best to finish my study to achieve all my dreams for my parents because my success is my parents happiness and my happiness is to see them happy. In all of the things that I'm doing, my inspiration is my family. I believe that someday I will achieve my dreams for my parents because like what the others said, "if there's a wheel, there's a way".

LESSON LEARNED:

In all the things that happens to us, I'm sure that God has a better plan. All you need to do is wait for the right time and the good things will come to your way.
