No on in the world sees color until they meet their other half
There once lived a girl who swore she would never find her other half
Years went by all of her friends were falling in love around her
She was jealous because they got to view the world in color
Who could blame her for being bitter eventually she just accepted her fate
Again and again person after person her world was grey
All through grade school and all through middle even highschool was grey
She started to lose her faith in true love and finding her soulmate
It wasn't until she left her small town she began to regain her faith
That maybe she could find where she belonged in the world among her
That maybe that's the reason she couldn't find the one destined to love her
Maybe just maybe but yet as she left and moved on she realized
Maybe she was never meant to love another and that she'll never belong
Then one day it hit her it was raining and she was late to class
And being the klutz she sometimes is forgot her umbrella
While walking through the rain she slipped and she braced herself for the fall
She never felt the ground against her she instead felt arms around her waist
And she was staring to the most beautiful pair of blue eyes she had ever seen
And that's all she did was stare at the girl in front of her not a care in the world
She didn't care that she was late to class or that she was getting wet
All she cared about was the beautiful girl in front of her then she realized
The girl in front of her was her other half and so she looked at the world around them
And it was beautiful not as gorgeous as the girl she got to live her life with
She looked to the girl to see her looking at the world realizing the same thing
She would get to spend her life with the one girl meant for her
They looked into each other's eyes and ended their meeting with a kiss
And began what was left of their lives together as one
