The Jerk Wants Me

NEW SCHOOL

I walk up to Delilah's door and knock. Delilah is my first friend I met at this town. Well, the only one so far anyways but I'm meeting more of Delilah's friends tonight. At the fair.

"Sorry I fell asleep. Come in.", she says, after opening the door. I start laughing and sit on her couch as she tries to find her shoes. She slips on black high-top Converse and gestures towards the door. We walk to my 1967 Chevy Impala (SPN fans know what I'm talking about.) and get in. I turn on the radio as she gives me directions to the fair grounds. When we get there there is a long line of people, I sigh, and Delilah just goes up to the third people in line and hugs a girl with dirty blonde hair wearing a band tee shirt and skinny ripped jeans, a girl with brown hair and lighter streaks wearing glasses and a pokemon hoodie with a pair of shorts, and a girl with brown hair and glasses wearing a deadpool sweatshirt and black leggings who is holding hands with a guy with brown hair and glasses wearing a pair of jeans and a shirt that says something about sarcasm. She then looks at me and steers me closer to them.

"Charlie this is Allison, Mary, Scarlett, and Gowther.", she says pointing at them in order.

"Hey! Glub glub! What's up? New blood.", they say all at the same time.

"Nice to meet you.", I laugh. We go up to a ticket booth and tell them how many, which is 6. When we go in there's a lot of kiddie rides. I look over at Delilah and raise an eyebrow. She giggles and grabs my hand, pulling me away.

"Come on, slowpoke!", she yells. "There's one more person I want you to meet." We pass by some food stands. I smell the good food and look at it longingly.

"This is Cody.", Mary says. She points to a guy a few feet away.

"Hey, shitfaces.", he laughs.

"Hilarious, really.", Allison says, crossing her arms and rolling her eyes." This is Charlie, the new girl." I get pushed forward.

"Nice to meet you.", I stick out my hand, he takes it and smiles.

"Let's go, BITCHES!", Scarlett yells. We walk towards a ride called the "Round Up" when someone barrels into me. I fall down and look up to see a hot guy staring at me.

"Watch where your going!", he yells. Allison helps me up. I brush myself off and look at the guy.

"YOUR THE ONE WHO RAN INTO ME!", I yell, frustrated.

"Calm down, slut.", he smirks. That's when I punch him. He stumble back surprised. He flips me off and walks in the opposite direction we're going. I roll my eyes and turn back towards the others.

"I've met a lot of pricks in my life but that guy is a cactus.", I tell them. They all laugh.

"That's Freddie, one of the most popular guys and hottest guys in school.", Allison says to me, with a dreamy look on her face.

"He's a real bastard.", Delilah mumbles. We walk up to the back of the line and wait. I start looking around when I see Freddie staring at me. He smiles and looks away. What the fuck? I turn back around where I get jabbed in the side by Cody. I scream and flip him off as we walk up the stairs and onto the ride. This will be fun. I walk up the rest of the stairs and get on to the ride. Its the kind of ride where your only strapped in at your knees and it's very loose. I shakily buckle the yellow rope and sigh. I'm standing by Allison and Mary and they're trying to talk to me but the ride starts up and I can't here them. The ride goes slowly then picks up speed and I get pushed up against the back board. I started screaming in delight then I feel my stomach drop and I stop screaming. Oh god I hope I don't throw up. I grip the handles tightly and squeeze my eyes shut.

After the ride finally stops after what seems hours, I feel my stomach lurch and I rush over to trash can.

"You ok?", Allison asks, when we sit on a bench.

"Yeah, I just don't like those kind of rides. I can do aything but that.", I laugh.

"Ok then let's go ride some more rides!"

"Can I tag a long?", I hear the bastard ask.
