My Stereotypical Life as a Teen: Chapt. 4
I felt two manly arms snake around my tummy, meet and pull me in. I stood still in surprise and the fact that I was totally weirded out by the gesture. I slowly spun around on my black Doc. Martens to face the mystery man.
"Miss me?" Chris asked.
"Nah, not so much," I answered in nonchalance. I hope he didn't sense the truth in my voice.
He walked to my side and moved his arms from my waist to wrap around my shoulders, lightly tugging on my layered black hair with electric blue streaks. After thinking about it I slid my arm around his waist. Looking like the total mismatched couple, we walked quickly to not be late for Music.
"You play the guitar?" I asked with a lot of surprise and disbelief in my voice.
"Don't sound so shocked. One day I'll show you. One day I'll serenade you and make you fall for me. If you haven't already." I rolled my eyes and smiled.
"You're late!" Mr. Nielson, who we all assumed was gay (his voice was unnaturally high and he made weird hand movements), shouted at us as we entered the classroom.
"Sorry, Miss . . . ter," Chris apologized, not sounding sorry at all, getting some snickers from his friends at the back and a menacing glare from Mr. N.
We sat down on the cold tile floor. Yeah, he made us sit on the FLOOR. Like we were . . . kids! We always complained but by now we were just tired of it knowing that we'd never really get the chairs we'd requested. Mr. Nielson and all the other music teachers were strict and mean that way. Might be why I hated music.
Chris kept talking to me throughout music. As much as I'd like to get to know him I really didn't want to listen to his droning right now. He nudged my a little every now and then and that was annoying too. Just when he was REALLY getting on my nerves and I was about to smack him on the head the bell rang and we stumbled out of the doors and into our next classes.
"Why?"
"Why . . . what?" Chris asked.
"Why did you ask me out? And don't say 'because I like you' or 'because you're cool,' because that is the stupidest reason I've ever heard."
"Ok then. I like you because you don't care what anyone thinks. I like you because you're the hottest emo girl I've ever laid my eyes on. I like you because you're so beautiful when you're sarcastic. I like you because whenever I look into my dreams I can't see anything BUT you and your wonderful smile . . . even when you had braces. I like you because you're the smartest girl I've ever talked to . . . except for my mum, she's pretty darn smart," he finished off. I smiled genuinely at him. He was so sweet.
He put his hand over mine and squeezed it. "Oi, Andy!" He called over suddenly. Great. When Andy finally came over he said, "Did I mention that this is my girlfriend?"
"Yeah. You introduced me the first day I got here . . . " He trailed off slowly.
"Oh right. That. Just wanted to brag about it again. Actually," Chris said standing up on the table. Oh God. What was he doing? "Hey! Attention, everyone! I'd just like to announce, if you haven't figured it out yet, but this hot emo girl sitting next to me is my GIRLFRIEND everyone! Yeah, my GIRLFRIEND!" He shouted loudly. Why? I just wanted to melt into a little puddle and disappear. Great, he was inviting me up now! I shook my head. "Awww. She's embarrassed!!"
"Shut up, Chris!" I hissed pulling him down. Then it occurred to me I wasn't pulling his shirt down but his pants . . . and almost immediately his jeans that were hanging low enough on his waist had slid down to his ankles. My eyes widened in shock of his silk black boxers patterned with light pink playboy bunnies. I felt my mouth automatically drop, but I couldn't help but feel a little aroused.
"Oh, would you look at that? Wants to get into my pant already!" He joked and soon the cafeteria had erupted into laughter. He bent down and pulled his pants back up.
"What was all the laughter about? We could hear you all on the way down from the library!" Alyssa exclaimed.
"Oh. Taylor over here couldn't wait to pull the pants off of Chris," he explained in a not so light tone. "Lucky bastard," he whispered low enough so only I could hear.
"Hell yeah!" Chris cheered.
Candy laughed and sat down, lunch in hand. "Well, when you couples are finished talking dirty, can we talk about something NORMAL?" Candy suggested.
"Oh yeah, normal. I can do that. Ok so yesterday I was watching this movie right, and I was getting all turned on and there was no chick handy so I mast-" Jayden started.
"THAT, is not NORMAL, Jayden! I hope you know that or you'll never be able to please your future, future, if ever, wife's parents. Eugh. I so don't have an appetite anymore," Candy said, pushing her tub of food away from her.
"Aww, c'mon, Candy, God I love that name, just having fun!" Jayden explained, moving next to Candy and edging ever so close to her. Candy widened her eyes and looked extremely worried as Jayden came closer and closer. She just shook her head slowly while Jayden chuckled.
"Soo . . . triple date? Awesome! Ok, how 'bout we go eat at that new restaurant! Then we could watch a rom-com! Ooooh!! 500 Days of Summer! Yeah!" Alyssa planned out loud. "What do you say people?" She asked excitedly. We murmured "mms," "sure" "yeah" in response. "Cool!" She cheered. We all laughed at Alyssa's excitement except for C that is. She just looked pissed off. I laughed at that too.
"Wait. Does this mean I'm dating her?" Jayden asked, incredulous, gesturing to Candy.
"Sadly, I think it does," Candy deadpanned.
"Oh c'mon, I'm not THAT bad, am I?" Jayden asked, mocking hurt and shock. Candy had a great sense of humor . . . not! Hence she just glared at him until he started eating again. Then she smiled triumphantly.
"So, girlfriend, do you need help in getting dressed for our triple date this Saturday? 'Cause I know I do," Chris smiled seductively.
I chuckled at his failed attempts. "Nice try, Chris," I said as I patted his cheek light heartedly while Andy looked at me with dark eyes. That made me stop.
AlyJJ24 says: He walked you home?
I say: Yes. It was all very sweet.
AlyJJ24 says: Awww. Andy didn't. (
I says: Well . . . r u excited for Sat?
AlyJJ24 says: Course! Not sure Andy is though.
I says: What did he say when u asked him?
AlyJJ24 says: He said "sure". Guys say that right?
I say: "sure"? Well, it's like saying "why not?"
AlyJJ24 says: OH. That's a bad thing, right?
I say: Not exactly... it just means he's not 100%
AlyJJ24 says: Oh. GTG Taylor. TTYL. Cya tomoz.
AlyJJ24 is offline.
I say: Bye
I took in a deep breath as my computer slowly shut down. That was good advice right? I mean it's true. Candy was right. I like him again and that really sucks; not only him but Chris too. Why am I always in deep shit?
